1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi I'm LaChanda Wells and lead officiant at Luv 2 Infinity LLC. My path to become a wedding officiant was an unexpected journey and I am so thankful for this adventure. Originally, I never thought about being a wedding officiant. It is a journey that only happened because of perfect timing and my ability to say yes to new experiences. I was actually signing up on Thumbtack for my notary business and it had an advertisement to learn more about becoming an ordained minister to officiant weddings so I was like sure. I already been in love with weddings and wanted to be a part of that memorable day for couples so that’s when my journey to become a wedding officiant began. Even after many hours of training and marrying over 200 couples each time is like the first. I get excited each time. I love seeing the love displayed between the couples especially when the groom cries when sees the bride or when they wipe each other eyes during the ceremony. I’ve gotten where I am today because I go above and beyond for my couples whether it’s taking a same-day booking or driving 2 hrs. on short notice or helping the couple find a venue. I aim to make the process less stressful as possible, especially on the day of when they’re going crazy because nothing is going as plan. I comfort them and let them know everything will work out as it should. Sometimes the best things happened unplanned.
