1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi I'm Jae! I'm your new professional makeup artist with over 15 years’ experience! You may have seen my work in Target, Cinemax, Netflix, and The US Census Bureau’s billboard campaign just to name a few.

I excel in providing my clients with Customized Sophisticated Bold Glamour for special occasions and weddings. This one of the reasons In was nominated the top 3 best makeup artist in 2021 by ThreeBestRated.com.

I believe in not just providing my clients with head turning eye-catching looks, but providing them with a safe and sanitized environment where they can enjoy great vibes and lots of laughter. Working with me is all-around experience!

When I’m not behind the chair applying makeup, you can catch me mentoring and educating colleagues on how to hone their skills and fine tune their brands.

My personal goal is to make Jae Renna Artistry a household name, and it is my honor to serve you in any way that I can!

I hope we get to work together soon!

Xoxo,

I have over 16 years experience in the industry, and I started in the wedding industry as an apprentice. I wanted to KNOW everything I need to know about bridal before i jumped in. So Ive been bridal makeup artist for about 10 years now. In that 10 years I've done a total of 326 weddings.

I don't believe packages are cookie cutter. so I offer custom packages based on my clients needs, once they have filled out a Bridal Beauty Intake form.

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

I believe in bring pretty hands-on for Bridal parties of 6 or less. However, I do have a team comprised of assistants and artists that assist with larger parties. I know that with the pandemic we are in crazy times, so in the event that I am ill I work diligently in finding my brides a substitute that carries the same professionalism and skill that I have.

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

I charge a base travel fee of $150 for the greater Detroit Metro area, which includes unpacking and transport insurance for my kit. I often travel out of the country for brides and those travel rates are discussed based on airfare, room, board, etc.

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

I definitely recommend that brides have trials! That's the point where you physically know if that artist is able to deliver the look you are going for.

I often compare Bridal Makeup Artistry to trying on your favorite shoes you've been eyeing. Sometimes they look amazing on line or on someone else and then when you finally get a chance to try them yourself they don't quiet meet your expectations. So you have to keep trying shoes on that are perfect for you! Yup, that's definitely how Bridal Makeup Artistry is. That's why I offer booked brides the option of a 1 free trial.

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

Due to the fact my kit is insured I am not open to brides providing their own makeup. However, I do use a different array of beauty products for brides that I know will professionally deliver for their big day!

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

All of my bridal applications are virtually indestructible! My brides are kiss proof, cake proof, hug proof, and waterproof...yup trust me its not moving!

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

The length of time spent with bridal parties really depends on its size. I usually takes me about 38 minutes per bridal party member and an hour for the bride. I don't usually stay for the day unless the client decides to book me for my day-rate.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

All retainer monies paid by client will be refunded if contract is cancelled within three (3) days of contract signing. After the 3-day grace period, should a client cancel the booked event or any service on a contract, the retainer will not be refunded or transferred. Should a client cancel the booked event or any service on the contract it needs to be done 60 days before the event or the total balance of services requested will remain due.
If makeup artist cancels at any time or unable to perform her duties for any reason the retainer and any monies paid will be fully refunded.
