What if I haven't chosen a wedding venue yet?

That's okay! If you are more set on having a specific date and not as focused on where you say "I do" then push for the date you want! You can lock in your date with me and we will add in the venue details when you figure that out. However, if you have your heart set on a specific venue, lock in the date with them FIRST and then work on securing all of your amazing wedding vendors!

What is your shooting style like? Are you giving direction all day long or are you quietly taking photos from a distance?

I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model, and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from me!

What if my wedding plans change after booking and I decide that I want more coverage?

By speaking with my couples about the big details of their day before booking, I'm typically able to recommend the appropriate amount of coverage from the beginning. But hey! I know that plans change! Maybe you decide to add something unique into your ceremony or your guest list doubles and you want ALL the family photos. We'll make sure you have the coverage you need. My main goal right now is securing and saving your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.

Are you willing to travel further from your home for engagement sessions?

I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! Depending on what time of year you're thinking of having your Engagement Session, I recommend booking them at least two months in advance, earlier if you want a really popular season/holiday. 60 miles of travel to and from your session are included.

Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your retainer online. Easy peasy!
