1. Introduction: What's your story?

Marcos Vidal is a native Tucsonan who attended the University of Arizona for film and television. Laughing Dog Productions strives to provide a powerful vision of quality media and services to all of Tucson.

At it's roots Laughing Dog started with three friends creating videos and recording events in a humble home in Tucson in 2004. Behind the passion of creating is a story of loss, Andrew Rees was the initial founder who gathered his two friends Marcos, and Danny to help create videos. In time the company would mature to creating feature films, music videos and event coverage. Laughing Dog Productions is now Tucson's choice for event video services.

2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?

For 15 years we have produced and filmed weddings to tell the unique loves stories in Tucson. Over 100 weddings filmed.

3. How would you describe your videography style?

Our style is cinematic and documentary style. Capturing the raw moments with cinematic curiosity.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?

We recommend at least 90 days or more, but we accommodate shorter bookings if needed. We book a year out in some instances.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

Saguaro Package
Our services include two videographers, a true-to-life edited presentation, a highlight of the day, best wishes (short interviews with wedding guests), drone operator, coverage of the entire day, with online availability for social media sharing.

Ocotillo Package
Our services include one videographer, a true-to-life edited feature presentation, 6 hours of event coverage, with online availability for social media sharing.

The most popular is the Saguaro Package.

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?

We are a team of videographers, so the videographer will vary, but the team is comprised of award-winning videographers and film makers. Typically 2-3 people will film on the wedding day.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Outside of Tucson the travel fee is $150, and beyond Arizona contact our team. The fee covers travel time only.

8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?

We use redundant drives to save the data while editing. One month after the approved wedding is delivered the wedding footage is deleted. The edited video is available forever through our partner Mediazilla.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?

2-3 weeks until the first draft and the video is delivered via Mediazilla and for additional costs an external Hard Drive.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Cancellations can be made up to one week before the wedding date. We do not honor a refund for completed services.
