Our approach is driven by your unique story, who you are and your personal tastes. We believe that weddings are magical and each one of our couples has a unique story to tell. Our number one priority is to create a comfortable and fun environment to bring out the very best in you while allowing real art to emerge. When someone is relaxed and carefree in front of the camera it really shows and that can make all the difference between a great and SPECTACULAR photo. You may not always notice but we’ll be right there to capture those perfect moments before they pass by. We emphasize fine art portraiture, where we guide you into the most flattering light and poses while keeping the natural and candid feel.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I have been shooting weddings for the last 8 years. Perla Images has provided wedding photography for over 300 clients since business began in 2018.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
We always recommend couples select their vendors at least 1 year out from their wedding date but 18 months is the sweet spot! Most good vendors book up for prime dates well in advance.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Perla Images offers four wedding coverage tiers designed for full day storytelling across Cape Cod, Boston, Newport, and Nantucket. Every collection includes two photographer coverage by Will and his Associate Photographer working together. That structural commitment to two photographers on every wedding, even at the entry tier, is rare at this price point in the New England editorial market.
The Cape Cod Collection at $8,500 covers eight hours of wedding day photography for intimate weddings, micro weddings, and shorter day full weddings. It includes timeline and family formal guidance, sneak peek delivery within 48 hours, the full gallery within 60 days, a 24 month online cloud backup, and all travel within New England.
The Signature Collection at $11,500 is the most commonly booked package and the right fit for the majority of full wedding days. It adds two extra hours of coverage for a total of ten hours and includes a full engagement session scheduled anywhere in New England. This is the package that covers preparation through late reception at venues like Pelham House Resort, Hyannisport Club, Newport mansions, and Boston ballrooms.
The Editorial Collection at $15,000 is built for multi event weekends. It includes twelve hours of wedding day coverage, the engagement session, a three hour welcome party or rehearsal dinner coverage block, and a handmade 10x10 fine art wedding album. Designed for couples who want the full editorial weekend documented from welcome party Friday through reception Saturday.
The Luxury Collection starts at $22,000 and is custom built for multi day events. It covers rehearsal dinner through morning after brunch, includes optional 35mm film integration, a 10x10 fine art album, a duplicate parent album, sneak peek within 24 hours, and worldwide travel. This is the tier for luxury Boston venues, Newport mansions, multi day Indian weddings, and destination events.
Additional photography hours beyond included coverage are available at $850 per hour. A la carte items include a 10x10 fine art album for $1,200, a duplicate parent album for $800, drone aerial coverage for $500, and three hour welcome party or rehearsal dinner add ons for $2,500. Family, proposal, and engagement only sessions are offered at $850 per hour with delivery in 14 days.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Will Hall is the lead photographer on every Perla Images wedding. Weddings are never assigned to an associate or sub photographer to lead. When you book Perla Images, Will personally photographs your wedding day from preparation through the final moments of reception. This is non negotiable and one of the reasons the studio operates on a limited booking calendar each year.
Will is paired with an Associate Photographer on every wedding day, regardless of which collection you book. The two photographer team works in tandem so creative direction and timeline coverage never compete for attention. While Will is composing portraits with the bride and groom, the Associate is photographing prep details, family arrivals, ceremony cutaways, and reception candids. While Will is photographing the first dance from the front, the Associate is photographing the room from a second angle. The result is a gallery with the depth and variety that one photographer working alone cannot produce.
Each photographer carries two primary camera bodies and a full lens kit covering wide, standard, and telephoto focal ranges. On any given wedding day there are typically four working cameras between Will and the Associate, allowing simultaneous documentation from multiple angles and ensuring full redundancy if any single piece of equipment fails. Additional bodies, lenses, batteries, and memory cards are carried as backups throughout the day.
The workflow is intentional. Will handles creative direction, posing for portraits, and timeline coordination with the planner. The Associate focuses on documentary coverage, room shots, and parallel angles that fill in the spaces between Will's frames. After the wedding, both photographers contribute selects to the gallery, but Will personally curates the final delivery and hand edits every image without the use of AI. Skin tones, color, and tone are crafted to match the signature editorial look of the studio.
The Associate Photographer is a permanent member of the studio team and shoots every Perla Images wedding alongside Will. This consistency means you know exactly who is on your wedding day before you book, which is unusual in an industry where freelance second shooters rotate week to week.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Perla Images is based in Hyannis on Cape Cod and covers weddings across New England as the primary service area. This includes Cape Cod, Boston and the surrounding metro area, the North Shore of Massachusetts, Newport and the Aquidneck Island Rhode Island venues, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, the Berkshires, and the broader Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Connecticut markets. Travel within New England is included in every collection. There are no per mile fees, no day of travel surcharges, and no hotel pass throughs for regional weddings.
Destination weddings are welcomed and a meaningful part of the studio's annual calendar. Past destinations have included Italy, the Caribbean, and major US cities outside the Northeast. The Luxury Collection includes all travel and accommodations worldwide for both Will and the Associate Photographer. For other collections booked at destination locations, travel and accommodation costs are quoted separately and added transparently to the package, never marked up.
For couples planning weddings in unique or hard to reach locations, the studio takes a small number of destination bookings each year alongside the regional New England calendar. The cleanest fit for destination work is multi day editorial coverage where the wedding weekend itself becomes the story, but the studio is also booked for shorter day destination ceremonies and elopements in places like the Italian coast, the Highlands of Scotland, and the islands of the Caribbean.
Multi day Indian and South Asian weddings are a regular part of the work and are quoted under the Luxury Collection given the typical scope of two photographer coverage across multiple events.
For couples considering booking from outside the United States, a brief planning consultation by video call is standard before signing the contract so timelines, logistics, and travel needs can be aligned in advance.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
Perla Images offers handmade fine art wedding albums and museum quality prints designed to outlive the wedding day. The signature offering is a 10x10 fine art wedding album included in the Editorial Collection and the Luxury Collection, and available as an a la carte upgrade to the Cape Cod and Signature Collections for $1,200. Each album is custom designed by Will after the wedding gallery is delivered, with image selection guided by the studio and final layout approved by the couple before printing.
The albums are produced on premium archival photographic paper with linen, leather, or velvet covers and lay flat binding so two page spreads remain seamless across the gutter. Page count is 20 spreads (40 pages) at the base level with additional spreads available. The albums are designed to feel like a book worth pulling off a shelf, not a folder of pages glued together.
Duplicate parent albums are available at $800 each, designed for couples who want to gift heirloom copies to both sets of parents. The parent albums are produced from the same master layout as the primary album so the families share a unified visual record of the day.
Couples also receive a print release with every collection, meaning images can be ordered as fine art prints, canvas, or framed wall art through any professional lab the couple chooses. For couples who prefer the studio to handle print production, custom framed wall art and signature print boxes are quoted separately based on size and material specifications.
All digital files are delivered in high resolution and remain available for download through a custom branded online gallery for 24 months on the Cape Cod, Signature, and Editorial Collections, and for five years on the Luxury Collection.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
Sneak peek delivery happens within 48 hours of the wedding day for the 8 Hour, 10 Hour, and 12 Hour Coverage tiers, and within 24 hours for the Multi Day Wedding Coverage tier. The sneak peek is a curated set of 30 to 50 hand selected images that capture the headline moments of the day, designed for couples to share with family and on social media in the days immediately following the wedding. The only exception is a three wedding weekend, in which case sneak peeks deliver within 72 hours.
The full wedding gallery is delivered within 60 days for the 8 Hour, 10 Hour, and 12 Hour Coverage tiers, and within 45 days for the Multi Day Wedding Coverage tier. Final galleries typically contain between 500 and 1,200 hand selected and individually edited images depending on coverage hours and event scope. Every image is hand edited personally by Will without the use of AI. The editing process leads with skin tones, removes minor blemishes, and draws out colors that emphasize without overpowering. The result reads as editorial fashion photography with documentary honesty, not heavily filtered Instagram aesthetics.
Galleries are hosted on a custom branded online portal where couples can view, download high resolution and web sized versions, share with family by direct link, and order professional prints directly from the gallery. The portal works on desktop, tablet, and phone, and gallery links can be shared with unlimited family and friends. The print release is included with every tier so images can be ordered through any professional lab the couple chooses, in addition to the in gallery print store.
Gallery cloud backup remains active for 24 months on the 8 Hour, 10 Hour, and 12 Hour Coverage tiers, and for five years on the Multi Day Wedding Coverage tier. Couples are encouraged to download all final files to personal storage within the active period.
For couples who prefer a physical delivery format alongside the online gallery, USB drive delivery is available as an a la carte add on for $200 and is designed as a backup to the cloud delivery rather than a replacement.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
A 30% non refundable retainer is required to confirm the wedding date and secure Perla Images on the calendar. The retainer protects the date from other inquiries and covers pre wedding planning time, including consultations, timeline coordination, and venue research.
If the wedding date needs to be rescheduled within the same calendar year and Perla Images has availability for the new date, the full retainer transfers to the new date with no penalty and no additional charge. This applies to weather rescheduling, venue changes, family situations, and any other reason the original date cannot proceed.
If the wedding date is rescheduled into a different calendar year or Perla Images is not available for the new date, a portion of the retainer can be applied as credit toward a future engagement session, family session, or other photography service with the studio. The credit remains valid for 24 months from the original wedding date.
If the wedding is cancelled outright, the retainer is forfeited. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date and is non refundable once paid, given that the date has been blocked on the studio calendar and other inquiries have been turned away.
Couples are encouraged to consider wedding insurance for protection against circumstances outside both parties' control. Wedding insurance typically covers photography deposits in cases of severe weather, illness, or vendor cancellation.
