1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi! We are Candid Studios Photography & Videography. We were founded in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. We started in Steamboat Springs, CO and then migrated down to Fort Collins, CO. We quickly grew and expanded into establishing 2 other locations across Colorado. We just opened our newest location in South Florida. We started wedding photography with a goal of giving clients exactly what they dreaming of. Our entire process is designed around learning our customers editing style, desires and then we deliver results that align with what they are dreaming of for their wedding.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

We have been shooting weddings since July of 2020. We have already shot over 350 weddings. We are growing very quickly and we will likely quadruple this number as we continue growing.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Our entire photography style is focused around our customers. We have them complete a Pre-Production Questionnaire, so we can learn their style and apply it to our shooting. We try to let our customers enjoy their special day while still getting all the sots we need.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

We let customers book up to two weeks before an event, but we definitely prefer to at least have a month to prepare. It does take some time for us to go through the process, but because we have a team with some of the best staff we have a lot of scheduling flexibility.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We like to call our packages experiences and they are all priced exactly the same way. We just have flat hourly rates we charge clients in order to keep our pricing as simple as possible. All the experiences we have listed are priced the same, but we post them online as convenient price points for our customers.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

It will be one of our selected photographers and videographers. We have strict equipment and standards that all of our staff must meet in order to work for us. We currently have a team of about 20 photographers and videographers. We are working on an online platform where clients can directly select and book their photographers and videographers.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Yes, our travel fee is 0.63/mile round trip. That fee goes straight to our staff to compensate them for their travel. We have three locations in Colorado and one currently in Florida that makes travel fees reasonable and affordable.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

We work with one of the best printing labs in the nation and all of our monitors are calibrated to their printers for optimal color correction, but we do not include prints in our packages. You can purchase prints directly through our client galleries.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

We dramatically improved our turn around times this year by 180%! Images currently have an average turn around time of two weeks and videos take about a month to complete. We send these over in direct links for you to access the files conveniently and easily.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Our retainer is non-refundable, but we do try to help our clients when a cancellation is needed. We will often apply this retainer to a store credit to help clients.
