1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello friend! My name is Audria and I'm a wedding and portrait photographer and videographer. I've always been in awe of the way light paints a picture, dancing across a scene and giving it life with color, shadows, and highlights. More recently, I became obsessed with how the movement in a scene told a story, and decided to add videography to my skill set. Today, I create wedding stories seamlessly with both photo and video.

It is an honor to participate in one of the most celebratory and intimate days of a couple's life, along with their closest family and friends. Serving my couples with love and patience on their wedding day gives me joy, delivering the gallery that I know will be treasured for generations to come reminds me of the significance of my job. I don't take a single wedding for granted!

The Arizona desert captivated me when I moved here 20 years ago, and my heart still fills with joy when I watch the golden sunlight hit our incredible landscape. Although I call this desert home, I do love an adventure and travel as much as I can.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

I've photographed well over 150 weddings in the past 10 years. I started on a film camera in high school, picked up digital photography shortly thereafter, and 10 years ago a friend of mine convinced me to take that talent to shoot my very first wedding. I was hooked.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

My approach to photography on a wedding day is both documentary and classic. I love to create an environment with beautiful light and give enough direction to help you feel comfortable; but not so much direction that your day turns into an 8 hour photoshoot. I will use lighting that is flattering and won't leave you staring at me not knowing what to do with your own awkward hands, ha! A little bit of classic portraiture and a lot of "fly on the wall" image creation makes for a timeless wedding album.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

Arizona is special as weddings can happen year-round and the weather will usually cooperate. April - May and September - November are the most popular months for weddings though, and are usually booked a year in advance.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

I love that weddings are becoming highly individualized, from tiny mountaintop elopements, to backyard shenanigans, to a four star resort fête. For this reason I offer several base packages, but love to create custom quotes for my couples based on their needs. My most popular package includes an engagement session, second photographer, online gallery with high resolution images and print release, an heirloom album, and a highlight film. Couples usually spend between $3-6k on these services.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

When you book my services, I am the main photographer and videographer for your day. We work together with your vendor team to create a timeline that will not only help run a smooth and enjoyable celebration, but ensures we are catching the most ideal light of the day and not spending too much time wrangling family members for portraits. My focus is and always will be creating an enjoyable environment for YOU! Fiancé doesn't like taking photos? I can make magic happen in 5 minutes or less. Photos are the most important thing on your list? Let's go play in the golden sunset for an hour. Don't want to miss your cocktail hour? Well, I think you get the point - its entirely up to you!

Depending on your package and needs, we will discuss adding a second photographer and/or videographer to appropriately capture everything that is important to you. I have a large network of amazing photographer friends which is beneficial to matching a second photographer who fits well with your personalties. I've operated as both photographer and videographer alone for many smaller weddings, but when filming larger weddings or for a documentary edit of your ceremony, I will always hire a second and possibly third talented photographer. I own more camera and lighting equipment than I know what to do with, so rest assured that I have the tools at the ready to capture anything that comes our way.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Please ask me to travel! I regularly waive travel fees depending on your wedding location and package chosen because I love a good adventure!

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Yes! Printed photographs provide a feeling that no laptop or phone screen could ever provide. I use one of the best album companies on earth, and adore their heirloom album so much that I include it in most of my packages. Want to wait to purchase your album until later? I'm cool with that too.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

I deliver your images and video through a beautiful and shareable online gallery, and provide a crystal USB in a linen box with some of my packages. Photos are usually ready within a month, video within 4 months.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Kindness is a core value of mine, so please reach out if circumstances have thrown your plans out the window. I will do my best to serve you. I do require a retainer and contract to save your date in my calendar.
