10 Questions with Catherine Copeland-Mack

1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello, I am Catherine (Cathy) Copeland-Mack at Green Country Wedding Minister.

Officiating weddings are such a joy for me. There is nothing so precious, so wonderful than that loving/wonderous feeling I get when I have just married you.

I am licensed for the State of Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas and know each state/county's rules for obtaining, completing, and returning your marriage license.

I would welcome the honor to be a part of your magical/wonderful day.

2. What's your experience as a wedding officiant? How many weddings have your officiated?

I have officiated both small intimate to very large events. But no matter the size, I strive to provide each and every couple the same uniqueness to their vows.

This is the beginning of their lives together and my wish is for them to remember this day forever.

Bookings may be done 12 months in advance or the same day (when possible). I often perform same-day courthouse weddings (recommended by Tulsa County Marriage Clerks).

3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?

Same day (when available) to 12 months!

I am very organized and have calendars/reminders/files on each couple.

So don't worry I have forgotten you, you will be receiving emails/texts throughout the process (maybe just to let you know I am thinking of you).

4. How would you describe your officiant style?

*Organized
*Professionally dressed
*Outgoing
*Recite your vows as this is the first chapter of your new beginning.

5. What are your fees for officiating a wedding?

*Small intimate weddings start at $120
*Medium/Large weddings start at $150

If outside of the Tulsa metroplex area, there is a trip charge.

6. What do you wear when you officiate a wedding?

Professional attire:
A dark business suit that is appropriate for the officiant and the wedding.

7. How many pre-wedding sessions will the couple need to have with you?

Typically, one session will provide both the couple and myself with the requirements for the ceremony.

Upon meeting my couples, we will have discussions about them.

We will discuss what they would like to see in their ceremony.

I will provide sample scripts.

Many times, we speak by phone to discuss their needs.

But communication is key to the successful writing of the vows for the couple.

Communication through emails/texts throughout the planning stages are sent to let the couple know I am thinking of them and what can I do to assist.

8. Will you be able to create a personalized ceremony?

All ceremonies are personalized for the couples.

Once booked, I will meet with the couple (via in-person, emails, zoom) to discuss what they would like to see in their vows?

I have questions that will focus on key points within the ceremony to assure that their wishes are met.

The couple will receive two rough drafts for review and can certainly make any changes/modifications they wish before the final draft is completed.

9. Are you available to travel if needed?

Yes, however, there is a trip charge.

The trip charge depends upon the location from Tulsa.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

A booking deposit for weddings of more than 30 days is required or booking a popular date that is less than 5 days (if available)

The booking deposit is applied to the balance of the fee.
Refund/Cancellation policy: The booking deposit is non-refundable.

The couple may re-book to another date (if available) and apply the booking deposit to that date.
