1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello, I am so happy you are here. My name is Andrea Salazar, Owner+Master Makeup Artist of Haus of Dreams, Arizona's 1st all inclusive luxury Bridal House offering in House and on location Glam Services. I began my journey in Artistry 20 years ago, hired for my first wedding in 2002 and I instantly fell in love with Bridal Glam. It is truly an honor when Clients choose us as their Artists on such a monumental day in their lives, especially when we are surrounded with such talent. I genuinely have such a passion for the industry, and it is beyond my craft as an Artist, I strive on curating ease and creating a memorable experience from start to finish with each one of our dream clients.

Through my journey I have invested in my Artistry to offer only the best for our cliental, I embark in continuing education annually, I take 1:1 hands on training with sought out, elite Artists. I wanted to further my credentials and received my Aesthetician License in 2013, and after I had my 4th child I had resigned from my management position with MAC, but shortly after the demand in my services pushed me to rebrand my business which is when the seed was planted for the bridal house.

Being in the heart and center of a woman's wedding day, I have seen it all, and I wanted to change all of the inconveniences that Brides are honestly unaware of being that it is generally their first time being married, I also wanted to be the first of it's kind since our collections are so incredibly unique. I love to consider us the pre-wedding event planners, or a bride's Fairy Glamother.

All Collections are tailored to fit every brides needs. All in house Collections include: Lodging, Transportation, Hair+Makeup, and Food+Beverage is optional as an A la Carte purchase where the Brides personalize it based on her needs. Our Team is available to service on location, and we have a small Food+Beverage A la Carte menu available for on location Bridal Parties as well as for Brides who do not book glam services with us since we have such a demand in inquiries regarding our Food+Menu, so we extended that part to our service menu.

2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?

My experience began in Bridal Glam in 2002 and has not stopped since, it is the heart and center of my business. My talent and experience is countless, between my certifications, private trainings, expos, stylized bridal shoots, etc. I can honestly say I never stop learning because trends change constantly and one thing I pride my work on is staying relevant to provide the best for my cliental. I now oversee a Team of Hair+Makeup Artists who work for Haus of Dreams, I offer in house training with my Team because I feel it is absolutely important since they are an extension to not only myself but the reputation of the brand. My portfolio and the number of Brides I have had the pleasure of working with is honestly countless, it has been almost 20 years, so you can imagine the figure.

3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We offer Collections for the Bridal House and for on location, which are our Bridal Glam Collections. Booking as a Collection vs A la Carte is most cost affective since there is a savings on each collection booked.

Our Bridal House Collections all include: Lodging, Transportation, Hair+Makeup, and Food+Beverage A la Carte is an option. Collections are based on the number of Attendants lodging and needing services. Our Collections are, the 1st Date, the Engagement, "I Do" and the Honeymoon.

Our on location Glam Collections include Hair+Makeup+False Lashes and Travel up to so many miles. Our most poplar Bridal Collection includes our Signature Bridal Haus of Dreams Facial and Tanning in conjunction to the Brides Bridal Hair+Makeup Consultation and her Wedding Day Hair+Makeup. Collections again are based on the number of Attendants receiving services. Our Collections are, Best Friend Collection, "I Do" Crew Collection, and Dream Babe Collection

Add ons for our more expensive collections include 3D Mink Lashes and Tanning to name a couple up charge services.

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

Yes we are a Team of Hair+Makeup Artists. Based on the size of the Bridal Party will determine how many Artists+Stylists I will schedule. At minimum, we always have a Stylist+Artist+Associate Artist which their role is essential since they are our left and right hand man. I take care of all of the Hair+Makeup scheduling as we run a very streamlined schedule the day of the wedding, we make no accommodations for add on services, as they need to be finalized months upon wedding day. We do this to ensure to execute all services at the requested desired finish time. All scheduling is approved by our Brides.

Our Teams consist of Master | Senior | Lead Artists, if and when we have multiple weddings on the same day, our Senior Team will service Bridal Parties with no Master Artists on location, they essential are the "Master" Artists when Masters are already booked. These Artists have 5+ years experience in the industry. Lead Artists assist Master + Seniors but they never provide services to our Brides, again our Associate Artists are our Assistants and in training to be a Lead Artist in the near future.

If or in the event of an emergency I have a back up Artist to service my Brides.

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Included in our on location Glam Collections is 20 miles round trip. Anything that exceeds that will be charged additional travel.

We are happy and honored to service within our state as well as traveling out of state for destination weddings. No wedding is too far for travel, as we love traveling for destination weddings. Additional costs apply and are discussed in our Bridal Contract.

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

Our Collections include a Bridal Hair+Makeup trial where we execute the entire look that the client is desiring for her wedding day. It allows her the opportunity to make any additional changes to her look so we can perfect all details on her wedding day. All Consultations are generally scheduled a few months before the wedding.

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

Our Kit is extensive, it literally is an arsenal in itself. We use an array of high end products for Hair+Makeup. We are open to using products from the Brides own makeup kit if she should request, which is seldom.

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

Skin Prep and Artistry Technique is essential. We use specific products to tailor the needs of each client for optimum longevity in the product wear. We also understand HD Photography and equipment and being that this is a woman's most photographed day in her life we know the correct amount of makeup to apply so it transpires in photograph with out being washed out.

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

We allocate an hour in fifteen to an hour in a half for our Brides the day of her wedding depending on her look for makeup application. All Attendants are scheduled 45 minutes for makeup application. We stay on location until touch ups are completed in the schedule which is generally 45 minutes before the desired finish time. We offer touchups and or makeup changes at an additional service fee if the bride requests after her ceremony before her reception.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

If a Bridal Client has to cancel, she has 60 days to notify us. All finals are sale.
