1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello, my name is Ramsey Montigny. I am the owner and lead DJ at my company U7 Austin DJ. I have been DJing since the late nineties and have had the pleasure of DJing hundreds of weddings in the Austin area. My company can provide uplighing, drapery and a 360 spin booth that creates reels for your social media. U7 Austin DJ serves central Texas and beyond!

2. What's your experience as a wedding DJ? How many weddings have you done?

I have DJ’ed over 200 weddings mainly in the Austin Texas area but I have had the pleasure of traveling for a few destination weddings.

3. How far in advance do couples need to book your services?

Most of my clients book 6 months to a year in advance but I welcome last minute clients to reach out because I have other DJ’s in my company that are just as professional as I am.

4. What's your rate? What does that include?

My starting rate is $1,200. That includes ceremony, cocktail hour and reception set ups!

My most popular package is $2,400 which includes DJing, 12 up lightings and my 360 spin booth that creates epic reels for your guests to share on their social media platforms.

5. Are you available to travel if needed?

I am always willing to travel outside Travis county, the state of Texas or the states when need be.

6. How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as; professional, organized, easy going and reliable!

7. What's your backup plan if there's an equipment malfunction? Do you bring backup equipment?

Yes, I always have a backup laptop, cords and chargers in case one fails!

8. What's your sick day policy?

While I am the lead DJ for U7 Austin DJ. I have DJ’s within my company to pickup gigs when I’m booked or cover me in case of an emergency.

9. How do you motivate a shy crowd to dance? What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?

I find having a song request sheet out for guests to request their favorite song helps and group songs where they can dance as one large group can get people moving.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

My deposit is non-refundable but I am willing to work with my clients and give 100% money back if the service is cancelled because on my end. I have never had to cancel or refund a client yet and plan to keep it that way.
