Do you offer packages and what do they include?

My packages are: · Short & Sweet Micro Wedding - I will meet you anywhere within 15 miles of Downtown Austin and marry you with a simple pre-written ceremony any day of the week, any time of the day for only $100. Less than 30 minutes, and you are married! Depending on if your wedding is on a weekday (M-Thurs) or the weekend (Fri-Sun), I offer these two options-- · A Foundational Ceremony includes a 1-hour consultation to help us choose from a collection of unique, meaningful content and ceremony options I've written over the years, the rehearsal, and the actual marriage ceremony · A Custom-Written wedding ceremony includes a 1-hour consultation to discuss special wording, storytelling, ceremony order, and customization outside of my current content offerings, the rehearsal, and the actual marriage ceremony

Do you require a deposit and when do I pay the officiant fee?

I require a $50 deposit to reserve the date. Then you can pay the remainder anytime up to the day of the wedding date. Although, many couples like to check as much off their lists as soon as possible!

How did you get your start and how long have you officiated weddings

Around 1994, Benae was invited as a guest to a commitment ceremony through a friend. She did not know the couple but was forever changed by the experience. The shaman conducted the ceremony to a teary-eyed backyard congregation, joining two souls in love and life in a way that Benae had never known. She secretly wished she could do the same for people and has since made her wishes come true. Ordained in 2005, Rev. Benae has officiated over 200 ceremonies in and around Austin, Dallas, and Corpus Christi.

We will have a pretty small ceremony with no need for a coordinator. Can you help us stage & rehearse the wedding?

Absolutely!

How far will you travel for a wedding?

I will go wherever you want me to officiate your wedding. A .50/mile fee will be assessed for the minister's total round trip driving mileage for rehearsal and the wedding day when the event is more than 20 miles beyond downtown Austin. Locations that require air travel and accommodations will need to be funded by the couple.
