1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello there! My name is Reagan Suitt. I am the CEO and founder of Olive and Oath, an intimate wedding photography company based in Orange County, CA.
My business is more than just a place for pretty photos, but is an extension of who God has called me to be and a ministry of some sorts. This may sounds crazy but until June of 2019 I had never even owned a camera. That's because until the end of 2018 I was going to school for linguistics and had every intention of going the academic route in life. You might be thinking, what changed? Well, God moved. November 2018 I felt the Holy Spirit prompt me to quit my job as a supervisor with Starbucks coffee. I thought that meant I was to focus on my last year in University. It was quite surprising when only two months later I felt Holy Spirit prompt me again but this time to leave University. I was $16k in debt with no degree and had no plan. If there is one thing that I have learned in my life, it's that God always provides and blesses obedience. I withdrew from my classes that day.

My path was not exactly linear after that but instead I started pursuing YouTube as a way to develop creative skills like video editing. I still didn't have a camera or a job to buy a camera, but I had an iPhone and that was sufficient. During lent that year was when I felt the Lord tell me to pursue wedding photography. I haven't looked back since. From June 2019 until now, the Lord has blessed my business with so many opportunities to learn, serve and connect with incredible vendors, brides and mentors. I learned everything that I could about cameras, business, weddings and since I have started I have had the privilege of documenting over 30 very special days. My passion has grown into more than just the art of wedding photography. I love being a guide and friend to women as they walk through their engagement and grow into their roles as wives. My heart is to empower godly women to gracefully and confidently transition from fiancée to Mrs. It truly feels like the best job I could've ever asked for.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

I have been shooting wedding for two and a half years now and it has been an honor to document over 70 wedding stories.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Honest. Organic. Modern. Creative.

My heart is to let your wedding day unfold naturally in order for you to be present and your memories to be uninhibited. Your wedding day should not feel like a never ending list of photos to get. I love to shoot in a way that allows my couples to simply live in the moments (and don't worry, I do give enough direction to make the moment photograph beautifully too).

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

The nature of unique intimate weddings is a short engagement. I usually book out 3 to 6 months in advance but my books are always open for 12 months in advance. My peak months are always March, May, October and November. If you're looking at a date in any of those months, please reach out as soon as you have your location secured!

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

Our prices start at $2400 for 4 hours of coverage but most clients spend around $6000 (including albums and prints) by the end of our time together.
We do customized packages for each client since non-traditional weddings can have very different needs. This really allows us to curate something that will give you the best coverage for your wedding day.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

I, Reagan, am the lead photographer at Olive and Oath, but I also have an incredible team of associates who shoot for me when I am not available. Associates are introduced during the engagement session part of your Olive and Oath experience and have been trained under me to give you the same experience you'd get if I was your photographer. All photos are edited by me, so don't worry there.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We do require travel coverage for any wedding greater than 100 miles from 92501. This is simply to cover necessary lodging, food and plane/car/etc. We talk all necessary travel in our consultation call so you have a clear idea of total costs before hiring the Olive and Oath team.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Heirloom albums and wall art are an integral part of the Olive and Oath experience. We include full album design for all of our clients and talk prints throughout our time together.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

We hold gallery reveal celebrations for our clients 8 to 10 weeks after your wedding. This is an incredibly special day where you'll get to see your gallery for the first time, finalize your heirloom album and see wall art in person. Once we've had our celebration, you'll receive on online gallery to download and share with those you love.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

We require a non-refundable retainer of $1000 to reserve your date. After that we have a sliding percentage cancellation policy that we go over in depth during our signing call, if one is requested.
