2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?

Our team has many years in the bridal makeup and hair industry. We really have lost count on the number of brides in our portfolio. Over the last 10 years we have done weddings almost on every single weekend both Saturday and Sunday. On average around 80 weddings a year.

3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

Our packages are very straight forward. We price by service. Bridal service is makeup and hair. Non bridal service is also makeup and hair and comes in different prices. If clients want just one service, the service price is split half making it easy for clients. Then we add travel and parking. Very straight forward.Typically the Daimond package is the most popular one.

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

We do have a team. Most of the team can also work on brides. We aim to finish a wedding typically in 3 hours. That includes the bride and all the wedding party. The bride usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to finish for both makeup and hair. Depending on how many other services there are we then determine how many team artists we need to finish everyone on time. We try to finish within those times to keep the makeup fresh for everyone for pictures!

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Yes we charge travel fee. We try to be fair with travel depending on the miles and how long it takes to get to the location. Travel is up to 2 hours of distance and it's by miles. If more than 2 hours is needed in one way, lodging would also need to be included. We also charge for parking if there is a parking fee on the location.

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

I always recommend a trial for the bride to figure out her style. It's highly recommended. Not all brides book it but I would say 90% of them do.

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

We use all sorts of beauty products from MAC, MAKEUP FOREVER, NARS, TARTE, BOBBY BROWN, and etc. Yes the bride can also bring their own. Some brides have certain brands they like to stick to and it's their day so they can do whatever they decide.

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

The reason bridal makeup takes so long is because there are a lot of layering that goes into the process. It's about prepping the skin correctly and layering different products to set the foundation and colors. This is why it takes 3x the time on the bride than a nonbridal makeup.

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

Bridal makeup takes around 1.5 hours. Makeup and hair for the bride together is around 3 hours. Non bridal makeup and hair takes around 1 hour. I don't stay afterwards unless specified on the contract and we charge either hourly or more services later in the day.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

When booking, a downpayment is required. Downpayment is nonrefundable. We are flexible for date changes if dates are available.
