1. Introduction: What's your story?

HI, I'm Brian Boyd, owner and founder of Digital Hitz. My love for music and weddings started many years back. We're a premier Seattle-based DJ and event company that aims to take your wedding to the next level. With over 15+ years of experience, our team of professional DJs, MCs, and technicians have created lasting memories at hundreds of weddings around the region. Our experience doing a multitude of events, big and small, for different ages, cultures, and musical tastes help us tailor a wedding to your specific needs. DJs will create the perfect soundtrack while encouraging your guest to dance the night away. Technicians will create awe-inspiring visuals that your friends and family will never forget.

2. What's your experience as a wedding DJ? How many weddings have you done?

We’ve been professional Dj’s for 15+ years and have played at thousands of weddings, clubs, and events. All us started out as club DJ’S, so we can seamlessly mix all styles & genres of music. This is what creates amazing dance parties & our signature in the wedding industry.

3. How far in advance do couples need to book your services?

They have to book up to 2 months prior to the wedding as our calendar fills up quick. This also allows enough time to plan out music & the timeline for the wedding. Early booking will also ensure they can still add additional services.

4. What's your rate? What does that include?

Your cost will be determined by a number of factors including the date, timeframe, size services, and location of your event. Below is our starting package that fits most weddings.

$2499 for 5 hours & includes the following:

1) DJ curating playlists for (Ceremony, Cocktail hour, Dinner, and Dance party)
2) Master of Ceremony - Does all introductions, announcements, & transitions.  
3) Ceremony sound system, with cordless microphone for officiant and vows. 
4) Reception sound system, with cordless microphone for toasts.  
5) Free setup & breakdown
6) Free consultation
7) Dance floor lighting 

5. Are you available to travel if needed?

Yes we will travel anywhere in the US & love destination weddings. We have even done a few weddings internationally in Dubai & Greece!!

6. How would you describe your style?

I would describe our style as open format. We have 8 DJ’S in our company, so together we are able to play any style or genre of music.

Our experience doing a multitude of events for different ages, cultures and musical tastes helps us tailor an event to your exact needs.

We offer every type of MC personality: from witty to sophisticated – it all depends on the Couple’s request. Our DJs are well trained, friendly, versatile and polished. We have the best DJ’s in the Pacific Northwest and can find the perfect match for you.

7. What's your backup plan if there's an equipment malfunction? Do you bring backup equipment?

For every wedding we always take out 2 sound setups, 2 microphones, and have all the music on 2 different devices. If any of the equipment fails the backup would be right there available. We also have backup DJ’S on call in case of emergency, sickness, car accident, etc. In our 15 year history we have never missed a wedding.

8. What's your sick day policy?

Our backup plan consists of a total package in case your chosen DJ has suffered an accident or is sick. There is always an extra vehicle, extra equipment, and an extra DJ on call ready to step in at a moment's notice.

9. How do you motivate a shy crowd to dance? What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?

We will get on the microphone and encourage people to come out and dance. We can also play a group dance song like Cupid Shuffle or Cha Cha Slide, etc. to engage more people to dance. We are professional MC's who are very comfortable serving as the Master of Ceremony. Our ability to keep your guest engaged, entertained & informed is just as important as mixing great music.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

If you cancel your wedding at anytime the security deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel the 1 month prior to the wedding date the remaining balance would be refundable. If you cancel later than one month before the date nothing is refundable.
