1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello. I am Steve Scott, owner of Best of the Best DJ's. We are currently in our 21st year of business. We are always proud to mention that we are by far the most award winning DJ Company, in Las Vegas, with 19 and counting. After all this time we still absolutely love what we do and treat every event as if it were our own. Fun, interactive, great hosts and masters at keeping the dance floor filled until the last song of the evening.

2. What's your experience as a wedding DJ? How many weddings have you done?

Weddings have always been our specialty. There are so many things that a pro DJ does that the customers never knows about. A pro DJ is always a step ahead of the event. Doing a lot of behind the scenes things that the customer is unaware of. So many little things that a pro does. It's just part of keeping everything running as smoothly as possible. We truly believe that we can do seminars, and probably should write a book on the keys to DJ a successful wedding. Everything from loading in to loading out and everything in between.

Really have no idea how many weddings we have worked. We have been doing this for 21 years now, so, its a lot!

3. How far in advance do couples need to book your services?

We are highly recommended by quite a few facilities all over town and often get sold on several dates throughout the year. It is always best to lock it in ASAP to ensure availability.

4. What's your rate? What does that include?

We really cannot give an accurate price quote unless we have certain details. Depending upon the location, number of hours, and number of people. We have certain deals with some of the facilities where we have to charge a certain price. Our Best Popular Package includes top of the line sound gear, wireless mic, and some club type lighting for the dance floor. You can also upgrade to the Best Lighting Package with includes additional lighting for the dance floor, up lighting and a DJ facade. The Best Event Package includes a photo booth. We can also assist with all kinds of assorted entertainment. Pricing starting at $650.00.

5. Are you available to travel if needed?

We only DJ in Nevada. We can travel up to 2 hours each way and will charge accordingly.

6. How would you describe your style?

Fun, interactive and your complete hosts and emcees. We Do not just "stand and spin." Unless that is what you would like. We always tell the customer that "we are in your world that day." We try to make everything fun, and memorable, and do our best to connect with the guests. We want them to say that this was the best wedding they have ever been too. We are very knowledgeable with every genre of music and know how to pack the dance floor.

7. What's your backup plan if there's an equipment malfunction? Do you bring backup equipment?

Yes indeed. Again, things that make you a total pro. We usually have 3 backup plans ready to go. Once upon a time, I was working an event that was about 2 hours away, and that thing that would be considered, a DJ's worst nightmare occurred with the gear. But, we were prepared, and the event went off flawlessly and nobody knew a thing. I personally think that after the event I had a few extra grey hairs.

8. What's your sick day policy?

Sick day, what is that? We have a great staff of DJ's that work with us. So, if the scheduled DJ is not available, We will not miss a beat.

9. How do you motivate a shy crowd to dance? What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?

That can happen every once in a while. Again, that's where the expertise comes in. Sometimes they just need a little motivation from a fun DJ. Sometimes the popular line dances can be a solution or perhaps a slow dance number to get things rolling to get them away from their tables, and onto the dance floor. They might also not be a dancing crowd, in which case there is not much you can do. We will also try all genres of music to see what the crowd might enjoy. We have about #335 videos on our Youtube channel and the most popular thing the customers say about us, also written, is that we kept the dance floor filled until the very end. It's our specialty.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Our policy is that you have until 1 year of the event day to reschedule your event. The deposit is non-refundable which is why we take a small deposit.
