Welcome to The Frosted Fox Cake Shop! We are an artisan cake shop located in historic Mt. Airy, Philadelphia. We believe cakes should look beautiful and taste delicious. We love to design wedding and specialty cakes, as well as a daily selection of cookies and other treats ready for anyone looking for a little something sweet to eat.

FAQs

How much do your wedding cakes cost per slice?

Our cakes typically range between $6-$10 per slice depending on the complexity of the design and how far the delivery distance will be.

What is your delivery range?

We offer wedding cake deliveries within about an hour of our shop in Northwest Philadelphia. We frequently work in center city, Devon and Radnor, Glen Mills, Media, and New Hope area.

When should we book our cake?

Most couples book about 2-6 months in advance, but you are always welcome to book earlier and occasionally on shorter notice.

What types of icings do you work with?

Most of our wedding cakes are iced with Italian buttercream or fondant icing. We can also decorate the cake with a flavored buttercream or chocolate frosting, but this will impact the outside color of the cake. Unfortunately cream cheese icing is not strong enough to use on the outside of tiered cakes, but can be used as a filling option.

What are the options for tastings?

We are currently offering a "to-go" tasting box which includes 6 of our most popular cake flavors and 6 of our most popular filling options. These can be pre-ordered from our shop. After you've had a chance to taste our flavors, we will typically design the cake with you via phone, email, or zoom.
