My name is Danette, and i’m a girl with a cat, a camera, and an affinity for harry potter.

Since 2008 I’ve been photographing weddings all over the country. I started photographing professionally in my home town of Santa Fe, NM after attending an internship with the fabulous Sarah Barlow (who’s a total badass) in Chicago. To date I’ve photographed over 1500 weddings and elopements, in 13 different states.

I moved to Vegas in 2010 where I learned why people like being married by people dressed as Elvis. Its a thing, and its fun.
I was afraid of failing amongst all the other Las Vegas wedding photographers. Luckily after two years of shooting at wedding chapels, I was ready to work for myself again. I can now truly say that I’ve seen the weirdness Vegas has to offer while working at a wedding chapel. Vegas gets weird. Real weird.
