Ken and Peggy Heil both grew up with fresh, homemade desserts at just about every meal, and that tradition didn’t stop with them when they married. Recipes for cakes, cookies, bars, coffee cakes, and pies were passed down generation to generation.
After many years in the food service industry, working for small businesses and larger commissary type shops, they felt they had something special to offer. In 2002, Ken and Peggy opened Sweet Perfections Bake Shoppe, which combined their passion for baking European-style products with excellent customer service to create an old world atmosphere in their neighborhood shop.
Nearly 20 years later, Sweet Perfections is still a family-owned bakery specializing in wedding cakes, custom desserts and European pastries. With more than 30 years of experience, Ken and Peggy credit their success to their belief in great taste, exquisite presentation, and first-rate customer service.
