Meet Stephanie!
I started Sweet Gardenia Weddings in 2017 after leaving the corporate world as a paralegal. I realized that my knowledge of the law, organization skills, promptness, my easy-going personality, and my keen sense of style transferred well into the world of weddings.
I’ve become a wedding blogger and have been successfully planning weddings for budgets big and small! From barnyard chic, to luxury Riverwalk venues, we can source the perfect vendors to meet your budget, size, and design. I can’t wait to meet you and learn all about what your wedding will say about you.

Stephanie was the best thing to have happened to me for my wedding. I booked her last minute with a week to spare until my wedding and she executed ev...erything I needed and even helped me make my seating chart because she saw how stressed I was. She made sure I had and wanted everything on my special day. I literally forgot my bouquet and was about to walk down the aisle and she was literally The Flash and ran everywhere to find it for me with the venue staff and they found it!!! Can't recommend her enough. I wish I booked with her sooner and regret that I didn't !!!

She kep...t us on track, was proactive on items that needed to be done, and didn’t let a single thing fall through the cracks. I feel very fortunate to have known and worked with Stephanie. I truly believe that it is because of her that I was never a stressed out bride- she truly took the reins and let me enjoy this most magical moment.

The best and most thoughtful wedding planning team
This review is LONG overdue. I got married on Sept. 2 of this year at the Lost Mission and contacted Stephanie a year ahead of time because I am a Mid...land native organizing a wedding in the San Antonio area. Although San Antonio is my hometown, I haven't lived in the area in over 12 years and I knew that if I wanted to make my wedding vision come to life I was going to need the support of someone in the area.
When my now husband and I met with Stephanie for the first time we were super excited. She has such a fun and bubbly personality, we clicked immediately. As we progressed in the planning process, something I really appreciated from Stephanie was her patience and willingness to listen. I am an event planner myself and am accustomed to coordinating large scale productions so when it came to my wedding, my expectations where high. During our time working together, I changed my mind ALOT and felt so bad having to communicate those changes with Stephanie. However, she was so kind and always made me feel like I was going in the right direction which was really important because this process is stressful!
Once I provided Stephanie the contracts and information for vendors, she took over communicating with them, reminding me of payment deadlines that were coming up and made sure to be the point of contact on the day of the event.
On the day of our wedding, Stephanie and her team were absolute ANGELS!! She made sure everything was set up exactly how I envisioned it and kept us on schedule. During the reception her assistants made sure to give me a fan when they would see me to make sure I was cooling off and would even bring me drinks to the the dance floor. They were honestly the sweetest and most thoughtful crew!
Stephanie is really fun and bubbly but she runs a tight ship on wedding day which is exactly what we needed to make sure all the things we wanted got done. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to her and her team!
Following our wedding we had to deal with some not so much fun stuff as there was a Salmonella Outbreak, but Stephanie was super sweet and continued to check up on us following the event to make sure our guests were okay.
If you are in the area and are in the search for an amazing planning team please consider Sweet Gardenia Weddings! They are incredible!

Stephanie is amazing!!
Stephanie was so great to work with. I was a very anxious bride and Stephanie helped ease my worries throughout the planning process. I cannot imagine... what our wedding day would have been like without her- she worked hard to make everything go very smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to truly enjoy our special day. I definitely recommend working with her!

Where do I even begin with bragging about Stephanie?!
If any bride is on the fence about having Sweet Gardenia Weddings be part of their big day, THI...S IS YOUR SIGN TO DO IT!!! You will not regret it one bit, from the very jump, Stephanie was very attentive to every question I had. Our email chain is pretty long but that just goes to show that she is there for anything that you need! She did a tremendous job as my Month of Coordinator, At 6 weeks, she took over everything and it really does take a load off for us brides. When the day of my wedding came, it all ran exactly how we wanted it to run because of her and her team. Clarissa also did an amazing job at supporting us the whole day. We felt very blessed and in good hands for our wedding. Sweet Gardenia's organization is impeccable, any little problem that came up, Stephanie and Clarissa were on it and it was fixed in no time. Where to begin!?! Stephanie was amazing to work with. The amount of planning she did for our wedding made me feel at ease and her amount of knowledge ...in the wedding industry was so impressive. Any questions or concerns I had, she was ready to assist in any way she could. From our first meeting we had, my stress level immediately went down and her bubbly personality was definitely a plus! If you want someone well organized, dependable, calming, professional, and trustworthy …. Stephanie is THE one. She always had our back and was ready for anything that came her way. I cannot thank this woman enough for the amount of support, love, and gratitude for making our wedding day a dream come true.

Amazing Work
Stephanie was such a pleasure to work with! I found her when I felt like I was drowning. She swooped right in and always made me feel like everything ...was going to turn out perfect (which it did!). I was not an easy client as I procrastinated on literally everything but she was always so sweet and nice and made sure things ran smoothly. If I had to do it again, I'd hire Stephanie in a heartbeat! She's knowledgeable in every aspect and knows how to keep things in your budget.

Choose Stephanie!
Stephanie was very thorough in helping us prep our wedding. She gave us great ideas and was always very easy to reach when we had questions. She made ...a very detailed timeline for us and got in touch with all of our vendors to go over our needs for the day. For future couples I would highly recommend leaning heavily on her preferred vendors list. Everyone she recommended did a wonderful job. Any vendors we had issues with did not come at Stephanie’s recommendation. However Stephanie was on top of things and went out of her way troubleshooting for us all day. When our caterers tried to leave early, Stephanie pulled up the contract. When a venue employee locked a family member in the bathroom, Stephanie jumped into action to free him. She also helped us get money back from vendors that failed. She really has our back! She is the person to trust with all your wedding needs.

Choose Stephanie, you won’t regret it!
If you’re considering whether or not you need a day of coordinator, get with Stephanie at Sweet Gardenia Weddings, you’ll thank yourself later! We... could not be happier with our choice and Stephanie was amazing from beginning to end. We felt a good vibe from our initial consultation and that carried through to each meeting and our wedding day.
She was organized, asked all the right questions and took a lot off of our plate. She took care of all of the little details that you don’t have time to think of on your big day and handled communications with our vendors. She looked out for us and made sure our wants and needs were her top priority, we definitely felt catered to as a couple.
As stressful as wedding planning is, we are so incredibly thankful to have had Stephanie by our side through the process. She is an incredible person with a passion to make your big day unforgettable. Our only regret is not having hired her sooner!
