why should we choose you?

there are so many good photos online. I know that. that’s why this decision is tough. what there aren’t a lot of however are great photographers, who have a lot of experience and can be found at an affordable price. I aim to be inclusive, and don’t want money to be a barrier.

why is experience so valuable?

experience in a photographer is without a doubt, the most important thing. it allows you to produce consistent work in any and all conditions, no matter what. I’ve seen some sh!t. it allows me to know what’s about to happen, and be there to get it. it allows me to see problems before they’re problems. it helps me look at a venue and know exactly how to light it and position myself to get the absolute best out of it. it tells me that that veil absolutely needs a bobby pin. it helps me handle the most anxious couples and rowdiest bridal party. there’s nothing I haven’t seen.

what else can we expect from you?

as much help as you need, with whatever you need it with. I’ve been doing this a long time, and have probably done more weddings than your planner if you have one. help with timelines? I’m there. help with locations? I know this area like the back of my hand. help with your colour scheme? sure, why not? help tying ties? single or double Windsor, sir? advice on the seating plan? you’re on your own, that sh!t sucks. bottom line, I’m a great resource and happy to help in any way I can at any time.

what does the 8 hours include?

8 hours is a rough guideline. it may be a little less, it may be a little more. we arrive about a half hour before you get strapped into the dress, get you sitting around in sweatpants eating jimmyjohns and doing the final touch-ups. we leave about an hour after the formal dances… do some night-time portraits, get some group shots, get the absolute chaos on the dancefloor. whatever you come up with in-between those two points is completely up to you. there are no travel charges, and no dead-time charges. if you feel that you need more time, you can let me know, and we can see if you really do and what that means. same for if you feel you need less.

how many pictures do we get?

on average a typical wedding will have a gallery between 700 and 900 individual images. these images are uploaded to a gallery, from which you can download them. you can share this link with family and friends and they can access them too. downloads are password protected, and the gallery stays online for you to use as cloud storage.
