Yes! Although the name is a bit confusing because our Wedding Coordination package is much longer than just the "day of" your wedding. Our coordination package begins from the moment of hire and is designed for the couple who wants to take care of the complete planning process on their own, but doesn't want to burden friends or family with the management and chaos of all of the little details on their big day. At Shine Event Design, we work with you to develop a thorough and thoughtful wedding day timeline, ensure we know your venue well and have discussed layout and flow of your day, communication with all of your vendors to prep for your day, plus full onsite management for your ceremony and reception.
Our full planning and design package is for couples who are busy, planning from a distance or simply want to enjoy their engagement as we completely map and orchestrate your wedding from beginning to end. We'll provide a full blue print to bring the day you want to life, white you retain all decision making. Services start from the moment of hire and include venue searching, vendor research, ideas for personalization of your day, time lining, use of our customized online planning boards and full management of your wedding day.
Think about YOUR event and what is most important to you. There are lots of "lists of questions" that you could follow, but how many of those questions do you care about? Think about advice you'd love to have related to your wedding planning needs and ask that question! With an answer, you'll better understand if the planner is a fit for you. Their answer should be informative, personalized to your event and communicated in a way that you will enjoy working with. We love chatting about wedding days of all sizes and consider each conversation to be an opportunity to get to know a new person, provide some insight and see if we are a personality fit to work together. We also suggest asking a wedding planner, what tools they use for communication and planning. A great pro will be able to explain not only what tools they use, but why they will be of value to your planning process.
We strongly encourage wedding planning clients to consider the price tag of planning and average that over the amount of time the planning will be done. Our studio charges the same amount regardless of the length of time planning, so we love working with you early on! You get a longer amount of service and we get to know so much more about the details you'd love to incorporate.
For all of our clients (planning, floral design or decor), our typical process begins with a complimentary consultation via telephone or skype. During this time, we'll discuss your goals for the event including any theme ideas, look and feel, location, venues, budget and timelines. You'll gain a deeper understanding of how we can collaborate to create the celebration of your dreams. After the consultation and we agree to work together, we'll create a scope of work uniquely tailored to your day. Then, the fun will begin. Venue searching, tastings, decor.... we'll get to work searching out the perfect elements and creating unique moments for your upcoming event.
