Hello! I am Laura, owner and lead photographer of LWP. I live by the philosophy that a life outdoors is a life well-lived. That family, friends and four legged fur babies bring the greatest joy.

Being from the Midwest, I still think everything tastes better with a bit of ranch. Especially if it’s on pizza. I’m always on the hunt for new colors, forms and textures, in search of inspiration and the perfect patch of natural sunlight.

I strongly believe that best photographs are organic, candid and perfect in their imperfection. Timeless and classic, they surpass trendy.

With over 11 years of wedding and event photography experience I have spent my career photographing love stories.

I value the importance of tradition, customs and legacies and I am firm believer that love is love. I fully support marriage equality.

Currently I divide my time between Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. Spending my free time with my husband Chris and our dogs Cosmo and Knuckles.
