Kate Baker is an ordained minister by the Universal Life Church and happy to provide services to couples of all races, religions, and sexual orientations.

In 2012, my dear friends and neighbors, John and Sarah, decided to get married. They came to me to ask that incredible question, “Kate, would you want to be the one to marry us?” I had heard of this new trend, couples having a friend or family member marry them, but had never considered doing it myself. The three of us worked together over the next couple of months planning the perfect ceremony. Standing up there with these two amazing people was an honor and privilege. Through this new adventure, we discovered this was a role in which I felt completely comfortable with and truly loved doing. So now here I am, proud and excited to meet new couples and help them to embark on their journey together into the next chapter! It started with the love of one couple and I am elated to be continuing to share that love with anyone who so kindly gives me the great privilege of standing with them and uniting them as one.
