About Us

Gallery of Food is a locally owned catering company. We’ve been serving up some great, hand-made food for hmm…. quite some time now –since about 1990. Recipes from our imagination, fresh produce, committed chefs, and un-adulterated food have always been our hallmark.

We are an eclectic group of talented chefs, servers, coordinators who bring their passions for all things food, dining and gathering to your table. Diverse in our interests and craft, our varied expertise lends a unique flavor and style to our food, whether we are catering for your special event or coming up with innovative items for our new Bodega.

Simple deliveries for small meals to a fully staffed and choreographed celebration, we put our heart into every occasion. We can design a menu that complements your vision. If you have special diets, a strict budget or an extravagant evening, we can come up with the perfect menu.

This is a complicated question, and will vary dramatically depending on the menu, number of guests and logistics of your reception. It is a good idea to have a general vision of your menu and the lay-out of your dining area. Be wary of companies that give you a price right off the bat. They will likely not include all the items you need for a complete event. WE like to gather as much information as possible, and give you a realistic cost for all the items you are hoping to include.
Yes! We offer insured bartending for any event where there is no license. There is currently no liquor license available in Arizona for off-site events. We provide insurance to help protect you and the venue from liability. You can provide the alcohol, or we can shop for you if you don't want that on your to-do list. You will have to have a hosted bar for all events that are not at a location with a license.
We actually prefer to handle the rentals. We use multiple companies, and so often have a bit more variety. We do not up-charge the rentals, and can often get them at a slightly reduced cost than if you went directly to them.
We need your final guest count 2 weeks prior to the event. We base your estimate on the projected guest count, and I always recommend that you use the highest possible guest count in the planning and budgeting. That way, when all the final payments are due, they do not go over your budgeted amount. We revise the invoice based on your final coount, and need the final payment at least 7 days prior to your wedding. Any deposits are subtracted from the final balance.
We LOVE to make wedding cakes. Our specialties are unique flavors made with high-quality ingredients -- no canned fillings, cake mixes or stabilizers. If you have a picture of a cake in mind, or want to look at some of the cakes we've made in the past, we can help you decide what sizes you need, and create a delicious and beautiful cake.
