Hello!
I’m Erin Morrison.
I was born and raised in Illinois and moved to the great southern state of Tennessee. I am a walking contradiction; an introverted extrovert, a Type A personality with a creative streak, a Yankee who says fixinʼ, and a lover of comedy who couldn’t tell a punch-line to save her soul. I never dreamed that I would be a Knoxville wedding photographer or a Knoxville family photographer, and I am blessed that my art allows me to meet new couples and new families.
I hear you thinking in your head, “Well, how did you become a photographer then?” OH! Let me tell you! I fell in love with my wedding photographers! I thought that what they did was pretty darn cool, and I felt like it would be the perfect creative outlet for me. I talked James’ ear off for almost a solid year before he surprised me with my first camera. That moment was the start of this crazy photography adventure.
As of this typing, I have photographed 450+ weddings from all over the Knoxville area! I am also one of the few photographers permitted to photograph in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Voted one of the Best Knoxville Photographers, I am adaptable, knowledgeable, and flexible in any required shooting condition. That is the difference that experience makes, and that is why you should hire me for your wedding photography.
My name is Erin Morrison, and I’m a Knoxville wedding photographer who believes your wedding day deserves to be documented with honesty, heart, and a little bit of humor. For over a decade, I’ve photographed couples all across East Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains, specializing in guided-candid moments and earthy, true-to-life images. I’m LGBTQ+ friendly, fully permitted in the national park, and dedicated to making you feel comfortable from the first email to the final gallery. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: create photographs that feel like you and stand the test of time.
