1. Introduction: What's your story?

Christian Massey, founder & lead photographer at Viewfinder started with the vision to capture & support marriages from “I do” to “death do us part.“ Christian Massey realized that getting married isn't about just one day. It's a lifetime commitment. Life has its ups & downs, so it's really important to be able to look back on one of the best days of your life & reminisce on the love you have with your spouse.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

When I started out in 2015 I really focused on the number of weddings I could photograph in a year but being a man of faith, I believe that God encouraged me to think about the quality, not the quantity. That He will give me each opportunity to capture future memories for couples.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Clean, detailed, and intentional. Focusing on our slogan: Capturing Future Memories.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

Other people might disagree but I think the photographer should be the first person you contact when planning your wedding. Wedding planning really starts with capturing one or all of these memories: a surprise proposal photoshoot. An engagement photo session. Or a save the date photo session. It's where everything can starts.

So most bookings for a wedding happen about 6 months to a year in advance.

The fastest way to know if a date is available is by giving me a call.

Fridays - Mondays usually are the days that get booked the quickest.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

I like to make it really easy. I only have 3 wedding packages. They all include:
- Consultation through email, phone, or in person.
- Professional editing
- Online gallery for download access.
- Print release for personal printing, posting, and sharing.

Intimate package:
$750
- Just you two or 10 or fewer guests.
- 2 - 3 hour wedding coverage

Colorado wedding (MOST POPULAR):
$1,500
- All-day wedding coverage.
- All usable images.

Destination package:
$3,000 + travel
- All-day wedding coverage.
- All usable images.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

I am the sole shooter unless the couple requests otherwise.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Depends on the destination. If it's in Colorado the travel fee is $50 -$100 dollars. It covers transportation costs.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

No, albums or prints are an additional cost but highly recommend them.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

Since the number of images is so large from weddings I give the timeframe of about a month for all images to be completed and uploaded to my secure cloud-based storage. Where the couples can download directly from there. I do however give a sneak peek of about 10 - 20 images the first week after the wedding.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

50% is the deposit cost to hold the date. I have the right to keep the deposit if the date gets canceled. If it turns out that the date needs to just be changed & the new date is available. The deposit can be transferred at no additional cost.
