2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?

The owner of Sweet P Beauty has spent the last fourteen years working up and down the West Coast, from Washington to Southern California, Las Vegas and beyond. This experience has given the opportunity to learn how to work with every face shape, color, tone, and skin type out there. Her journey began with MAC Cosmetics at Nordstrom which taught her not only about artistry, but about delivering excellent service while always remaining flexible and positive.

Tiffany strives to choose colors and pigments that not only match client’s skin, but his or her personality and style. Understanding all the elements needed to create “photo-ready makeup,” and recognize how makeup will be affected by the setting, camera techniques, lighting, exposure and different film stocks has made all the difference in her career.

In 2014, Tiffany got her Master Esthetician license so she could work on client’s skin making it look its best before makeup is even applied. She saw a gap in the industry between makeup artistry and skincare and wanted Sweet P Beauty to be a bridge, especially when it comes to bridal makeup and skincare. Learning lash extensions was the last piece to make someone look and feel amazing from the moment they woke up with perfect skin and lashes, then adding the makeup element for the “wow factor”. Clients truly get a full beauty consultation which makes Sweet P different.

Understanding the state regulations with hair, it is important for us to be specialist's for our clients. While the owner of Sweet P specializes in makeup, we have licensed hair stylists' to specialize in wedding hair. Our team has been working together for over 8 years in weddings and can tailor any hair and makeup look to each unique bride. Sweet P Beauty has over 520 weddings in our portolio!

Sweet P Beauty’s services come with a personal touch from the heart. When you hire us, you can trust we will be on time, and will always be ready to listen to your needs and create the beauty look of your dreams.

3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

Each bride receives a trial run, skin analysis, touch up kit, eyebrow wax the week of the wedding and discounts on all of our services offered and one on one consultations to come up with your perfect wedding day look!

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

Each wedding has a hair specialist licensed by the state and wedding makeup artist. We have 3 lead teams and 2 assistants. If someone gets sick, we can another member of our team step in, however, this is never had to happen (knock on wood). One year, owner Tiffany, had an emergency appendectomy and still made it to the wedding scheduled that week.

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We do. We calculate mileage to get us there and back. Our teams typically travel together so there is one travel fee charged. If the wedding is out of town, we may require a hotel the night before so we are able to start at the appropriate time to get everyone ready on time.

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

Yes, we do trial runs for all of our brides since one is included in our package. We ask our brides have ideas and pictures of what they want (and/ or don't want) before their trial run so we can visually get on the same page right away.

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

We use many different brands in our kits for every skin and hair type and desired look for our brides. We are more than happy to use what our bride is most comfortable in if she prefers to use her own product(s).

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

We use professional products and techniques for a look to last all day. Some of our brides get ready at 5am and need everything to last until midnight! Year of training and consistent re-education keep us up to date on the latest ways to keep our brides looking fresh all day long! The trial run is used to see how long everything lasted and if we need to make any changes day of just in case something didn’t perform the way we expected. Each bride will receive a touchup kit to take and a mini lesson on how to apply each item should be applied so it will last and look it's best.

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

We budget one hour to do hair and one hour to do makeup for our brides. It typically does not take that long for each service, but we do like to give ourselves padding for our star of the show. Sometimes, they are needed to make a decision, or need to eat which takes additional time. We've had brides tear up and need a second to live in that beautiful moment! We do not want to stand in the way of letting our bride do what she needs to do to have the best experience. We are always happy to shift and start another person, touchup someone's hair or makeup, or sanitize our kits to make the best use of time. We stay until the last person's service is complete unless we are hired for touchups.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

In the case of the client canceling the event less than one-month prior to the schedule event date, the client will owe Sweet P Beauty full payment of all parties listed on the Beauty Service Contract minus travel fee. If the event is booked after one month prior to event, full payment is due immediately to Sweet P Beauty of all parties listed on Beauty Service Contract.

In the event the wedding date is moved as a result of sickness, accident, act of God and other reasons beyond their control, Sweet P Beauty will allow one transfer date with no service changes if available with no additional fees. Reason for wedding being transferred must be communicated immediately, discussed and agreed upon by Sweet P Beauty.

If trial run is canceled by our client 48 hours or less of scheduled appointment, a non-refundable cancelation fee of $175.00 will be owed by the client immediately to Sweet P Beauty.
