2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?

Hello and congratulations! I am a Certified Makeup Artist and Master Aesthetician with over 18 years of experience across the West Coast + now the East Coast. I’ve worked with a wide range of faces through the years perfecting the art of “photo-ready” makeup that will last your whole event!

In 2014, I earned my Master Aesthetician license to help clients achieve healthy, radiant skin as the foundation for their makeup. Bridging the gap between skincare + makeup artistry has been at the heart of my work, especially in the bridal beauty industry.

Today, I focus more on the behind-the-scenes of Sweet P Beauty, mentoring my team, refining processes, + ensuring every client receives exceptional care. This allows me to bring my years of expertise to every service while innovating + maintaining our high standards.

👰 THE VOW + WOW PACKAGE: Bride + Groom + 5 – Bridal makeup, groom package (day of skin prep, complexion correction, neutralized blemishes, groomed eyebrows), plus five additional faces.
👰 THE LUXE BEAUTY PACKAGE: Bride + 6 or More – Bridal makeup plus six or more additional faces.

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

We have 3 lead teams and 2 assistants. If someone gets sick, we can another member of our team step in, however, this is never had to happen (knock on wood). One year, our lead makeup artist, had an emergency appendectomy and still made it to the wedding scheduled that week.

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We do. We calculate mileage to get us there and back. If the wedding is out of town, we may require a hotel the night before so we are able to start at the appropriate time to get everyone ready on time.

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

Yes! We include a bridal trial in every package to ensure your wedding day look is exactly what you envision. We encourage brides to bring inspiration photos—both of styles they love and those they’d prefer to avoid—so we can align visually from the start and create a look that feels perfect for you. 💍✨

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

We use a variety of professional brands to suit every skin type, hair type, and desired bridal look. However, if you have a preferred product you love, we're more than happy to incorporate it into your makeup application to ensure you feel comfortable and confident on your big day! 💍✨

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

We use professional-grade products and advanced techniques to ensure your makeup lasts from early morning prep to late-night celebrations. Some of our brides start getting ready at 5 AM and need their look to last until midnight, so longevity is a top priority!

With years of training and ongoing education, we stay up to date on the best methods to keep you looking fresh all day. Your bridal trial allows us to test your makeup’s wear time and make any necessary adjustments before the big day.

To keep you photo-ready, each bride receives a custom touch-up kit along with a mini lesson on how to use each item for the best, long-lasting results. 💍✨

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

We allocate one hour for bridal makeup to ensure a relaxed and seamless experience. While the application itself often takes less time, we build in extra padding for the bride—our star of the show—to accommodate any last-minute decisions, quick bites, or emotional moments. We know weddings are full of beautiful, unpredictable moments, and we never want to rush your experience.

If needed, we’ll adjust on the spot—whether that means starting another person, refreshing someone’s makeup, or sanitizing our kit to maximize efficiency. We stay until the final service is complete unless hired for touch-ups throughout the day. 💍✨

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

If the client cancels the event less than one month before the scheduled date, the full balance for all parties listed on the Beauty Service Contract (excluding the travel fee) will be due to Sweet P Beauty. For events booked within one month of the wedding date, full payment is required immediately upon booking.

If the wedding date needs to be rescheduled due to illness, accident, act of God, or other uncontrollable circumstances, Sweet P Beauty will allow one date transfer at no additional cost, provided availability allows and no service changes are made. The reason for rescheduling must be communicated immediately and agreed upon by Sweet P Beauty.

For bridal trial cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, a non-refundable cancellation fee will be due immediately.
