Built in 1919 by textile mill owner Joseph Separk, this romantic Italian Renaissance revival mansion features private gardens, parlors for getting ready, and a Grand ballroom adorned with crystal chandeliers. Large bay windows provide plenty of natural light to make your wedding day picture perfect. We cant wait to help you say "I do"!

FAQs

What do we do if it rains?

No one likes to think about it raining on their wedding day, but our experienced coordinators have seen it all and have you covered! We can host an inside ceremony for up to 150 guests. While your guests are at cocktail hour in our upstairs ballroom, we will flip the main level into your dream reception! We only require a 48 hour notice to make this happen!

Are we allowed to bring in outside alcohol?

Per the liquor restrictions in NC, all alcohol has to be purchased and supplied through Separk Mansion. That being said, we are happy to customize your bar menu and special order craft beers and specialty liquors that matter to you most on your special day!

Is catering included or can we bring in our own caterer?

The wonderful thing about Separk's All Inclusive package is that a standard buffet is INCLUDED in your package price for 100 guests! The All Inclusive Menu has a diverse range of selections for you to curate a personalized wedding menu. The stress free and easy nature of our package is mostly in part by working with the same vendors that we know provide reliable and consistent service.

Are there local accommodations for my out of town guests?

We have several partnerships with local hotels! There is a bed and breakfast right next door, there is a boutique hotel within two blocks of the venue, and there is a hotel 15 minutes away that provides a free shuttle service for your guests.

Do we get a rehearsal and can we host a rehearsal dinner at the venue?

All couples receive a complimentary 60 minutes of rehearsal time that is scheduled the day before their wedding! If we have another wedding scheduled for the day of your rehearsal, we will host a morning rehearsal sometime between 10am and 12pm. If there is not a wedding that day, we will host your rehearsal sometime between 10am and 5pm. We do not host rehearsal dinners at Separk but we have several relationships with local restaurants who would be more than happy to accommodate you and your families!
