Description

We’re an online cake shop serving the Denver, Colorado area specializing in custom, modern cakes and elegant sweets. Our cakes are made from scratch for every order with quality products and no preservatives or artificial flavorings.

Flavor is extremely important to us, so to ensure that we are delivering the best for you, we make our cake components in-house; from the sponge, fillings and jam to frosting. We prioritize balance and harmonious flavors. Cakes are coated with silky Swiss Merengue Buttercream. Our recipe has much lower sugar and butter content compared to other buttercreams (e.g. American buttercream), which makes our cakes less sweet and more flavor-driven.

Food is first enjoyed with our eyes, so we make your cake as beautiful as it is delicious. We specialize in modern, minimalist and delicate designs. We love clean lines and balance. We believe less is more when done correctly.

It's always best to order your wedding cake as soon as you have your wedding date set. We recommend ordering your cake at least three to six months in advance, or even earlier if you have a specific design in mind or if your wedding is during a busy season. This will give you ample time to discuss your ideas with us, schedule a tasting, and finalize the details of your cake. Keep in mind that some popular dates may book up quickly, so it's best to secure your order early to avoid disappointment.

Determining the size of your wedding cake depends on several factors, such as the number of guests, the style of the cake, and whether or not you plan to serve other desserts or sweets. As a general rule, a two-tiered cake can serve up to 50 guests, a three-tiered cake can serve up to 100 guests, and a four-tiered cake can serve up to 150 guests. However, this can vary depending on the size of each tier and the way the cake is cut. The size of the serving also depends on the number of layers and the height of the cake. A taller cake will typically serve more guests with smaller slices than a shorter cake. So, keep this in mind when deciding on the size and number of tiers for your wedding cake. Additionally, another option to consider is having multiple cakes instead of one large cake. This can be a great option to add variety to your dessert table, and it can also create a stunning display. You can choose different flavors, designs, and sizes to cater to different tastes and preferences. If you plan to serve other desserts or sweets, you may not need a cake as large as if you were solely relying on the cake to serve all of your guests. Ultimately, the size and style of your wedding cake should reflect your personal style, taste, and budget.
Choosing the design for your wedding cake is a highly personal decision and should reflect your style, personality, and the overall theme of your wedding. Some couples opt for a classic look with a simple, elegant design, while others prefer a more elaborate or whimsical style. Consider the overall aesthetic of your wedding, such as the color scheme, flowers, and decorations, and use these elements as inspiration for your cake design. You may also want to incorporate your favorite hobbies or interests, or incorporate meaningful elements such as a monogram or family heirloom. It's also important to consider the season and location of your wedding when choosing your cake design. For example, if you're having a spring wedding, fresh flowers are a popular choice for decorating your cake. In the summer, semi-naked cakes with greenery accents are on trend. For fall weddings, dried flowers and earthy tones are often used in cake designs. And in the winter, minimalist and modern cakes with unique shapes are popular. Additionally, you should consider the overall background and theme of your wedding. If you're getting married in the mountains, you could use the natural scenery as inspiration for your cake design. Or if you're having a boho-themed wedding, incorporating elements like feathers, macrame, or dreamcatchers into your cake could be a fun way to tie everything together. Ultimately, your cake should not only taste delicious but also complement the overall style and vibe of your wedding. Be sure to bring along any inspiration or ideas you have to help them create a cake that perfectly suits your tastes and preferences. And remember, the most important thing is that you choose a design that you love and will make your wedding day even more special.
