Laura Nadeau (aka Lo) relocated to Virginia Beach 4 years ago from NYC to be near her family and is enjoying life as a makeup artist and spray tan guru in Hampton Roads.
Lo’s makeup artist career started in NYC when she was an actress. As she started doing makeup on her cast mates just for fun, Lo realized that she had the skill and passion to be a makeup artist. Laura honed her skills as a makeup artist working at the Flagship Bloomingdales in NYC at the Bobbi Brown Counter for 3 years and after working on 1000s of diverse faces, launched her own business/website in 2006.
Bridal beauty was her initial focus and remains her first makeup love. However, with all of the makeup artist opportunities in NYC, Laura branched out to on-camera makeup (photoshoot/TV) male grooming, makeup lessons, beauty writing, spray tanning and On-Air Beauty Expert.

I get my inspiration from years of experience in NYC and living through makeup trends from the 1980s through the 2020s and 20s. I look to what celebrities wear on the red carpet and what the top icons in the makeup artist are doing: Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, Patti Dubroff, and Bobbi Brown.
My look is makeup that looks like you in person, photographs beautifully, and lasts all day long. I also want to find a look that YOU love as much as I do.
