Hi! I’m Kimm

My mission is to shine a light on the unique beauty of every woman that sits in my chair, and empowering them to like what they see in the mirror. To teach women that makeup doesn’t have to be superficial, and to show them how it can be an extension of the beauty that is inside them.
I do makeup a little differently by focusing on creating bridal looks that are inspired by the bride’s personality; conducting lessons so ladies can see that makeup is a friend not a foe; pushing new makeup artists to strive to truly master the art and science of makeup; and helping my private makeup clients not only look, but feel like they are ready for a red carpet!

What brands do you use?

I USE A RANGE OF BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND LUXURY BRANDS. EACH PRODUCT IN MY KIT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY SELECTED BASED ON ITS PERFORMANCE AND ABILITY TO WORK WITH MY TECHNIQUES

Is a preview session mandatory?

I DO RECOMMEND A PREVIEW SESSION PRIOR TO WEDDINGS IF YOU CAN, BUT THEY ARE CERTAINLY NOT REQUIRED. I'VE DONE MANY WEDDINGS OVER THE YEARS WITHOUT A PREVIEW BEFOREHAND.

When should I secure my date?

THE SOONER THE BETTER! 4-6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE IS MOST COMMON, BUT UP TO A YEAR IN ADVANCE ISN'T OUT OF THE ORDINARY EITHER. IF YOU'RE WANTING TO BOOK LAST MINUTE, GO AHEAD AND CONTACT ME- YOU NEVER KNOW, I JUST MAY BE AVAILABLE! I DO NOT ALLOW DATES TO BE RESERVED MORE THAN A YEAR IN ADVANCE.

What do you need in order to work on location?

I WILL NEED A FLAT SURFACE TO SET UP ON, ACCESS TO A POWER OUTLET IF I'M AIRBRUSHING, NATURAL LIGHT (PLEASE GIVE ME A HEADS UP IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE GETTING READY SPACE NOT HAVING MUCH LIGHT), AND ENOUGH OPEN FLOOR SPACE FOR MYSELF AND MY CHAIR TO FIT ADJACENT TO MY SETUP.

Do you airbrush? What about false lashes?

AIRBRUSH MAKEUP IS INCLUDED UPON REQUEST OR THE ARTIST'S DISCRETION. AT YOUR TRIAL RUN WE WILL DISCUSS IF AIRBRUSH IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU. IF AIRBRUSH WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY DECIDED ON, ALL MAKEUPS WILL BE COMPLETED USING TRADITIONAL APPLICATION. LASHES ARE INCLUDED COMPLIMENTARY WITH EVERY APPLICATION IF YOU WISH TO HAVE THEM.
