FAQs

Do you photograph big weddings?

No, I only photograph elopements and small wedding under 35 people. I have photographed big, traditional weddings in the past but now I focus solely on luxury and adventure elopements and weddings.

Can you help us plan our elopement?

YES! My unique service also includes helping my couples plan their elopement with locations, vendors, permits, activities, and more! I am not a full-service planning, though, so do research and send all of my recommendations but you will need to contact and book other vendors yourself.

Can we invite our family & friends?

YES! I love including couples’ closest friends and family and can usually accommodate up to 35 guests for your elopement. We even could plan a private adventure with just the two of you and then meet up with your guests! Keep in mind, though, that there are some guest restrictions to some locations such as National Parks as well as logistics tend to get more complicated the more people you have (seating, parking, food, etc.). So, you might need to look at small wedding venues if you want. a bigger elopement guest list in addition to adventure locations, but don't worry, I got you!

Do we have to hike to have an adventure elopement?

Heck no! Not if you don’t want to. My philosophy is that 1) Adventure is for everyone and 2) Adventure is what you make it and more of a state of mind. You can find adventure anywhere, it’s simply your mindset and attitude. There are so many incredible locations with 1-2 mile hikes or drive-up lookouts and not to mention city locations. The most important part of your elopement is that it’s an intentional choice to spend the day in a meaningful way with your love – whatever that day may look like.

How do payments work?

I require a 50% non-refundable retainer at the signing of the contract. That officially books your date! You'll immediately get access to all of my elopement planning guides or my outfit style guide for engagement/couple sessions. The remainder 50% is due 30 days before your elopement date or 2 weeks before your Engagement/Couples session date! That way you can know everything is taken care of and get excited for your wedding day or session! I send invoices through HoneyBook so you can sign the contract and pay online. Super easy.
