Hi, I’m Courtney.
I’m a floral designer and the owner of Iris & Fig. I began this business after moving to Washington and falling in love with the incredible bounty of flowers the PNW has to offer. I have a BA in English and worked in university marketing for many years before deciding I wanted to get out from behind the desk and create with my hands.

I’m in love with nature, and some would say I’m in love with love. I believe love is for everyone, and I welcome all couples, including non-traditional and LGBTQ+. I’m excited to hear your stories, and getting to know you and creating for you from a place of understanding is such a joy to me.

My design work is lush, seasonal, carefree, and filled with movement. I believe the most beautiful florals are rooted in place and time, which is to say they share the shapes, colors, and elements you’ll find in the woods, gardens, and fields all around us. Flowers are a gift that heighten our senses and make us more aware of the natural world, and that’s ultimately what I hope to provide for you
