FAQs

Will we have someone with us the day of our wedding?

Yes, you will have a day of wedding coordinator on board with you on your wedding day to help direct your event and keep the day flowing exactly how you will discuss in your detail meeting.

What is our cruise route?

The cruise route varies each day and depends on weather and traffic in the harbor with other boats. However, we typically go to Charlestown first to visit the USS Constitution, then we circle south towards Castle Island and pass by other harbor island such as Spectacle, George’s, and Thompson.

How will our wedding flow?

From the information you provide in your “Wedding Questionnaire”, your wedding coordinator will be able to put together a sample schedule of events which is a basic timeline of when specialty dances, toasts, and food service, etc. will be executed. You will go over everything and can alter and adjusted it when you meet for your in-person detail meeting 3- 4 months prior to your wedding.

Will our ceremony be private?

For ceremonies being held on the Odyssey and Spirit of Boston, the ceremony takes place at the dock before other guests board. Therefore, it is private to you and your guests for one hour. The Seaport Elite and Boston Elite are private.

What are the Skydeck capacities on the boats for wedding ceremonies?

Massachusetts coast guard has approved the following maximum capacities on the sky deck of each of our boats. Seaport Elite II: 70 Boston Elite: 60 Odyssey: no maximum capacity Spirit: no maximum capacity
