WE have been based in NYC since 1992. We wouldnt have been able to stay in business this long without knowing many genres of music and more importantly how to put it together so every guest can enjoy it. Its a prerequisite for being in the most diverse city in the world! We will be happy to supply you with references from the many diverse weddings we have djd!

Q: What would happen if the Expressway Music DJ we have assigned to our wedding cant make it on our wedding day?

We have a minimum of 6 DJs on our roster and weve never had 6 weddings in one day!! Also, we have relationships with friendly competitors and its part of our service that you will get a top quality dj on your wedding day.

Since 1992 Expressway Music has been providing full time experienced Disc Jockeys for elegant and fun weddings (both big and small) in the New York City Tri-state area. "Experience Matters" is our logo because in addition to our DJ's being very "together" with their music they are also ALL very detailed oriented which is an essential trait in ensuring our clients have the absolute BEST DAY/NIGHT of their lives! In addition to our DJ services we also offer high quality Live Music Services (please see our videos at www.expresswaymusic.com/livemusic), New-Modern Photo Booths(including Mirror booths, Roaming booth(good for when space is a concern) and open air booths, Lighting and Karaoke (great for after parties and also for the reception(ask us for samples/references!). FAQs

For the ceremony we will need music and a microphone for our officiant. Do you provide this?

Yes! We offer a number of options. you can have our DJ play the pre-ceremony(as guests arrive) and for the ceremony (processional and recessional song). Our dj will also provide your officient a microphone and if we have add'l mics available as well. Another option is to have one of our live musicians (solo violin, Piansist, guitarist, harpist) or duo, trio, quartet. We represent extremely reliable and professional musicians who can play Pre-Ceremony and ceremony and also cocktail hour if you desire.

I'm still nervous about Covid delaying our wedding again. What is your deposit policy in case we need to delay or cancel the date we booked with you.

We are very flexible. If your wedding is delayed by covid we will honor the deposit for up to two years from the wedding date to use on another event. If you need to cancel because of covid (or some other very serious reason we will refund your deposit completely).We realise that we could be losing money by this but we strongly feel that sometimes "life happens" and compassion is more important then one days pay.

Yes. We also offer Live Musicians for your ceremony and or cocktail hour. Interactive and full of bling Mirror Photo booths!, Karaoke, lighting and more. This way you can come to one trusted source instead of many. Everything is overseen by Owner/DJ Dave Swirsky who is obsessed with quality and client satisfaction.
