My photography is a commentary and recorded history of the human experience in all its expressions of beauty, struggle, bravery, and mystery. I believe that the candid interactions, ridiculous quirks, and vulnerable moments of sharing between family and friends define what it means to be alive…. and they deserve to be documented, preserved, and remembered.
Through my photos, I aim to reflect the ways in which friendship, love, and events – both the monumental, as well as the seemingly insignificant – shape our lives as individuals, families, and communities. Above all, my work is about the here and now. It is about all those little moments that turn into years gone by, into love stories that become legacies, friendships that last until we die, and the celebrations that help us hold all that love within us.
