1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hello!

Tolman Media offers couples the convenience of both stunning wedding photography AND breathtaking videography combined to truly bring a story to life. Our imagery and filming is designed to compliment each other, capturing the full scope of the most impactful day of a couple's lives--the day they say "I do."

Tolman Media encompasses a team of professional, sought after, and highly skilled photographers and videographers who each bring their own unique artistry to the Tolman Media family. Brides and grooms are put at ease knowing a team is behind them throughout their entire wedding journey.

We were humbled to receive WeddingWire's "Couple's Choice" award for 2021 as well as the Wedding Rule's "Editor's Choice" award for 2020.

We are a local company. Los Angeles and Orange County is where our team calls home. We have loved having this area as the beautiful backdrop to the weddings we shoot.

We have been blessed to be apart of so many wonderful couple's special moments and are honored to continue this wonderful tradition for years to come.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

Tolman Media started in 2014. We are so proud of the growth we have experienced over the last 7 years and look forward to how our company will progress in the years to come.

We have shot hundreds of weddings and engagement sessions--in 2019 our team shot over 500 weddings and engagement sessions.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Our photography style is candid yet impactful. We strive for our imagery to appear as the silent observer to a couple's love story unfolding right before your eyes. We love intimate moments and instances that embody true joy.

Our work is current and eye-catching on social media yet also classic and timeless.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

When thinking of booking--9 to 12 months prior is a good rule of thumb to ensure a specific date will be available.

Our most sought after times of the year are May through October with Saturday bookings being our most popular. If a couple wishes for a Saturday wedding date during the summer then booking 12 months in advanced would be advised.

With that being said, Tolman Media is unique in that the size of our team allows us to often times accommodate those couples with short notice weddings or quick engagements.--so if you fall into this category be sure to reach out!

We offer 3 different photography and videography bundled packages with each offering an option to only purchase photography or videography as a stand alone service.

We are happy to create custom packages that fit a couple's unique situation and preferences.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

Tolman Media is comprised of a team of wonderfully skilled creatives. Our Tolman family consists of 22 members each professionally versed in either photography or videography. Our team culture allows for a unique synergy to be created between photographer and videographer during a wedding that produces a seamless coordination of skills and artistry.

We know couples will love working with each member of our team--from their professionalism and skill, to the unique relationship that is formed as they capture such a special day.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We offer a travel free zone which is essentially a 30 mile radius from the center of Los Angeles. All wedding locations within this radius will have not travel fees. If a wedding falls outside of this 30 miles radius, then a travel fee will most likely be applied. In most cases our travel fee is $0.50/mile round trip. If the wedding location is over 90 miles away, a hotel fee may also need to be applied.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Each Tolman package includes a high resolution, edited digital album for personal downloading. A variety of print sizes and options from within that digital album are offered al a carte.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

We deliver finished edited media to our couples within 30 business days after their wedding--however often times we are able to deliver media much sooner.

Edited images are delivered via an online link to a digital album where clients are able to download the album to their own devices. Edited wedding videos are also delivered using an online link where they can be downloaded as well.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

In the case of a booking cancellation the client's deposit is non-refundable.

However, if a client wishes to simply change their wedding date we will transfer their deposit to secure the new date and no other fees are applied. Clients are responsible to first verify that we have availability for their new date before switching.

If a client has paid in full and their wedding has been cancelled, then we will refund all payments besides the non-refundable deposit.
