Rites of Celebration

Description

I created Rites of Celebration to help others celebrate weddings or handfastings or other special times in their lives. I serve ALL couples.

Many couples come to me knowing that they want something more than a courthouse wedding but they are not active in a church or even follow a religion. They may have a great venue selected but have no idea how a ceremony is planned or where to start. Or they may be seeking a private, low-key elopement. I am very flexible on styles, size, location and ceremony details. I specialize in bringing the couple’s unique backgrounds and wishes together in a meaningful ceremony. Unity ceremonies and family bonding ceremonies can be added to the formal ceremony as a special way of moving the couple forward.

With nearly 15 years of officiant experience, my passion is working with couples in creating a celebration that reflects them and their relationship. A wedding is not just about the couple, it brings change to all that have loved and encouraged them and I can suggest ways to include all the important parties in the celebration. Children and pets are encouraged to participate according to the wishes of the couple.

I was raised in a Protestant home and spent many years actively involved with organized religion including co-officiating in church weddings. My own personal journey has taken me to a more spiritual path of life and celebration. I work with ALL couples. Love Wins.
