Meet The Owners.

Dan and Darlene met in Austin, Texas. Both coming from small towns in Nebraska and Texas, they wanted to settle in the outskirts of the city to raise their three children where life would be similar to where they grew up and to be around nature and wildlife. From their many travels to other countries, mainly Africa, they had a vision for a lodging facility.

Therefore, Asante Lodging and Events was created. It is nestled In the heart of the hill country in Dripping Springs, Texas which is also known as “The Wedding Capital Of Texas”. They decided to call it Asante, which is derived from the Swahili dialect and means ‘Thank You’.
