Can I add additional hours of photo coverage for my wedding day?

Absolutely! While 12 hours is the absolute maximum my team and I will shoot, you can add additional hours to any collection for $375/hour.

Who second shoots for Victoria Rayburn Photography?

That’s a great question! I work with a handful of second shooters who I’ve trained to shoot exactly like I shoot. Some have photography businesses of their own, some are strictly second shooters, and one is my husband (Zach). Because my second shooters understand how I shoot, all of your wedding photos will be light, airy, and consistent with my photo style, which I hope you love! In other words, when you look through your gallery, the quality of both my photos and my second shooter’s photos will be the same.

When should we schedule our engagement photos?

Engagement photos can be scheduled on Monday-Thursday evenings or mornings anytime before your wedding. If you’d like to use your photos for save the dates, I recommend booking your session at least six months before your big day. Because I reserve weekends for weddings, I shoot engagement sessions Monday-Thursday evenings two hours before the sun sets or at sunrise. These are the best times for photos because this is when the light is the softest and prettiest. And, great light is key to great photos!

I feel/my fiancé feels uncomfortable in front of the camera. Are we doomed to have awkward wedding photos?

Not at all! Feeling uneasy about being in front of a camera just means you’re normal! With the exception of maybe professional models, I don’t know a soul who loves having their photos taken. Heck, I’m a photographer, and even I get nervous in front of the camera! To help you and your fiancé feel relaxed and confident, I’ll tell you exactly what to do during your photos and give you very specific instructions. You don’t have to worry about a thing!

Do you work with bridezillas?

While I love working with detail-oriented brides, I only work with kind, respectful couples who are willing to trust my skill set. If you’re looking for a photographer you will pay attention to the little details and make changes if she knows a change will result in better photos, I’m your girl! However, if you’re looking for someone to do exactly as you command, I’m not the right photographer for you.
