We’re so glad you found us, and are truly honored for the opportunity to tell your unique love story through the lens.

We’re Alberto & Lauren Lama, the husband & wife duo behind Unveiled Weddings. Hailing from vibrant Mexico City (Alberto) and the glorious ‘burbs of Maryland (Lauren), it was a wine bar in NYC that brought us together one serendipitous summer night. A few pours and many sparks later, the rest was history. We got hitched right here in New York at City Hall followed by a destination wedding in beautiful Tulum, Mexico, and along the way merged Alberto’s wedding photography skills with my background in writing & communications.

Officially founded in 2015, Unveiled Weddings was created out of a mutual passion for storytelling, now realized through beautiful, timeless and authentic wedding photography & cinematography.

As Principal Photographer & Creative Director, Alberto passionately captures weddings in addition to leading the overall creative vision of Unveiled. This includes personally handling all image editing and album design as well as hand-selecting our team of talented Lead Photographers & Cinematographers.

Meanwhile as Studio Director, I (Lauren) keep logistics running smoothly at Unveiled, making sure every last detail, special request and behind-the-scenes item is covered for the big day. I manage all things on the business end as well as client communication, which pretty much makes me your behind-the-scenes, wedding logistics ninja for everything pre & post I do’s.
