Can SSQ play modern music?

YES! While we are all classically-trained musicians, we offer a vast range of musical styles to fit any occasion - Rock/Pop, Jazz, Broadway, Folk and Bluegrass, Celtic, etc..

Can I request a title that is not on the SSQ song list?

Absolutely. We love to learn new music, and can find or arrange nearly any song you bring to us.

Does SSQ play with amplification?

We can either play acoustically or amplified. We consult with each client to determine what sound will best fit their event.

What does SSQ’s ceremony package include?

Our ceremony package includes: *20 minutes of “prelude” music as guests are seated *processional (entrance) music for the wedding party and distinguished guests *(optional) background music within the ceremony *exit music for the wedding party and guests. *our all-inclusive price even includes mileage so there are no surprise fees Additional performance time (cocktail hour/dinner) is available upon request.

Does SSQ play for outdoor events?

We play dozens of outdoor events each year. We only have a few conditions in which we find our performance ability to be compromised - extreme temperatures (>95°F or <55°F), precipitation, or high wind. Under these circumstances, we work with our clients to make suitable alternate plans.
