Meet Taylor

Taylor graduated from Loyola University Chicago before completing the L’Art du Gateaux program at the French Pastry School Chicago in 2013, and then the intensive Diplôme de Pâtisserie at Le Cordon Bleu Paris in 2015. Taylor graduated with honors from each of her schools, and then went on to learn from extremely talented pastry chefs in their renowned establishments. This includes La Patisserie Cyril Lignac in Paris, Ron Ben Israel Cakes in New York, Maggie Austin Cake in DC, and Canlis in Seattle.

Named after the market street where she lived in Paris, Rue Cler is a dream that evolved into a business by 2019. Although the sophisticated flavors are what set Rue Cler apart, it is Taylor’s creative eye and passion for experimenting that make it truly unique.
