The Oakwood Country Club is under energetic new ownership and is undergoing a breathtaking modern transformation as it prepares to greet its 140th year.

The Club’s new interior look is elegant and inviting. A new bridal suite is being added, and new outdoor amenities for young families like pickleball and paddleboats will further enhance the Oakwood experience.

The Oakwood golf course is undergoing sweeping changes, on its way to becoming one of Missouri’s and the region’s best courses. It will include the Golf Center of Excellence, giving our teaching pros the best environment and teaching tools, including heated golf bays, Trackman performance enhancing software and golf simulators.

While Oakwood may be the oldest country club in the Kansas City area that is still in existence today, we know these new attractions will be of interest to younger families and will bring new energy to our membership. And even as our numbers grow, we still have one of the fastest golf courses in town, with no tee times. Something we are very proud of.

One thing Oakwood will always be, is inclusive. That is what sets us apart. We welcome members and guests from all cultures, faiths and backgrounds. You are family here. This is your club. And together, we want to make it the best experience for all that it can possibly be.
