Meet Nikki Brown

I have had a passion for makeup since I was a child. Growing up, I was always putting on makeup, even when I wasn’t supposed to. I tried to hide it and wipe it off before i got home from school, but Mom always knew!

Fast forward a few years to my adult life – I got my start working in corporate America and quickly realized it just wasn’t for me. I craved creativity and flexibility. I needed a change of pace. I began working at MAC cosmetics and fell even more in love with the makeup profession. After gaining several years experience, I knew this was what I wanted to do. So I ventured out to start my own business, and thus began Nikki Brown Makeup!

The old saying goes, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” And I’m thrilled to say I haven’t had to work in over 14 years! My passion for makeup artistry is just as strong now as it was the day I started. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with weddings, photo shoots, films, and many amazing production crews locally and while traveling.

No matter the occasion, I love the co-creative process of helping people make the best choices for their own unique beauty.
