ABOUT ME

I am a photographer based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Some things I love include my wife Alexa (pictured above), our dog Penny, 35mm film, coffee, craft beer, whisky, the movies, camping, hiking, biking, long boarding and traveling.

I’ve had a camera in my hands for well over 10 years now and have photographed virtually every genre imaginable, but the one that has stuck with me the most is weddings. The value and importance of having the beautiful but fleeting moments documented for years to come holds so much value for your family’s legacy and story.

My goal is to document all my weddings with a genuine and timeless approach so that decades from now, all those moments truly feel like your moments from your life and not just another photoshoot among the masses. This approach includes a balance of photojournalism along with very relaxed posing/directing. The big thing I encourage all my couples to focus on, is simply showing up emotionally and being present on their wedding day so that their own emotions and their love for one another shine through without distractions. This is when your photos truly become your own.
