FAQs

Are you licensed in the State of Ohio to officiate weddings?

Yes! I am ordained through Universal Life and I have registered through the Secretary of State in Ohio to perform ceremonies. At this time I've performed approximately 270 ceremonies!

Can we personalize our ceremony or do you require it to be religious or secular?

This is YOUR ceremony -- not mine! I work with my couples to create the ceremony they want with the personalized elements that speak to them. I'm respectful of what your religious wishes are and will include whatever you request in your wedding ceremony.

Will you attend the rehearsal?

I'll do you one better -- I RUN the rehearsal! Performing your ceremony is an incredible honor and I take great pride in the work that I do. I want every element of your ceremony to be flawless and I like to run the rehearsal to make sure that happens for you.

How do we book you?

I can prepare a contract for you to review and sign. I request half down now and the balance is due at the time of the rehearsal. I accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo and credit cards.

Do you perform same-sex weddings?

Absolutely! I've always been a huge supporter of the LGBTQ community and I was thrilled when the marriage equality decision was announced. It is a great feeling to officiate the ceremony of a couple who didn't have the right to marry just 6 years ago.
