About Us!

Overlooking Meridian Hill/ Malcolm X Park, the Parks Center is a 40-room, 18,000 square-foot Renaissance Revival mansion. Washington Parks & People operates the Parks Center as a “greenhouse” for restoring DC parks and green spaces. The center serves as an incubator for a dozen community-based nonprofits aligned with our mission.

The venue provides the opportunity to host special events and programs for members. Including indoor and outdoor options for guests.
