The main ballroom of the Hunting Hills Country Club offers an inviting atmosphere for hosting up to 150 of your family and friends. Our award-winning culinary team will create a menu that is sure to satisfy any taste. Our expansive lawn provides an ideal setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and scenic Southwestern Virginia. Our elegant facility provides a beautiful backdrop of details such as high ceilings, brick fireplaces, picture windows, and magnificent patios. The Outdoor Pavilion is a lovely setting to host an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner, or after-party and can easily accommodate 200 guests. FAQs

Is Club Membership required to host an event at the clubhouse?

Membership is not required to host an event with Hunting Hills. We pride ourselves on inclusivity and welcome everyone.

Are we allowed to use our own Caterer?

Outside catering is not permitted however, we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and to create custom menus upon request. Our culinary team is comfortable with a multitude of ethnic cuisines and happy to use family recipes upon requests.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

All alcoholic beverages for your event must be provided by Hunting Hills Country Club. We are happy to provide bar staff and bar equipment needed for your event.

What does Hunting Hills Staff set up/break down for the event?

Hunting Hills will work with you to provide a floor plan unique to your event and we will set up all chairs & tables for your ceremony & reception. Our staff will take care of cleanup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and linens that are rented through the club. If linens or chairs are rented by yourself or another vendor, they would be responsible for placing linens and removing linens from the tables. We do ask that items such as floral arrangements and decorations that were provided by yourself be removed promptly after your event to allow our staff to clean up.

If we choose to use the outdoor facilities is there an indoor backup plan in case of weather?

Yes, we have a beautiful ballroom and indoor accommodations for our couples to use in case of unfavorable weather.
