Heavenly Sweets Cakes has been a premier leader in the wedding cake industry for over 25 years. The owner, Tanya Marshall, was asked, “What made you get into the cake/baking industry?” “because I couldn’t buy a good cake anywhere,” was her honest reply.
Tanya was educated locally at IUPUI and started working for hotels in the catering industry. This eventually led her to launch a business doing drop off corporate catering to many well known companies. With a high demand for delicious homemade sweet desserts and Tanya’s love for baking, she began Heavenly Sweets with the perception she would only use high quality, real ingredients, and take a meticulous attention to detail and design. To this day, she attends many workshops and studies the latest trends to keep up with ever changing technologies for baking and styles of decoration. While remaining current and up to date, Tanya chooses to keep Heavenly Sweets a boutique like store and customer one on one experience directly from the owner. “It is important to me that I gain relationships with my brides. I am emotional about my product and want others to have just as much passion about it. I will personally remain baking from scratch in the kitchen, so I know quality and taste will never suffer.”
